So I picked up my gator from Euronly Choice last night! All I have to say is WOW it came out awesome! Ryan did a fantastic job and I would not hesitate to send anyone his way for euro work!! He is a real nice guy, up front and passionate about his work. Thanks Chrisw for sending me his way!

Ryan said a couple teeth got loose so he put just a touch of clear Gorilla on them. The beast had 79 teeth and a spot where he lost one. 3 teeth had some pretty good breaks in them, he must have bit a boat or something!! lol

 

There will definetly be some gator coming up in the food thread here in the next couple weeks!!

Nice gator Fletch  !!    The euro mount reminds me of my mother -in-law....

My Canadian hunting buddy has had the nickname Gator for all of his adult life...People ask why a CANADIAN  would have the nickname Gator...

It's because his given name is Gaylord.....I'd rather be called Gator too....Hehehehe...

Awesome !

I had a large gator skull that a friend who worked at Wards Natural Science gave me, I in turn gave it to my first LT., his nick name was "Gator " because of his large body and short arms .

We did not get to weigh it. I have no doubt it was well over 200 just from us moving it but no idea past that. We butchred it on site. We did he length by girth calcs and it puts it at 200-250.

Actually, if prepared correctly, gator tail is awesome. We have made "nuggets" for dipping (with sauce) or deep frying and a spread for crackers etc.

I actually have not cooked any of this one up yet. I have had some gator from the same hole though and fried that up and it was fantastic. I will get some of this one fried up this weekend and post pics!
