Antlers. I can get meat any day I feel like butchering a deer.

Meat antlers are just the bonus.

Antlers...Meat is just a bonus. Can get meat pretty much any day of the week. A big set of antlers... Not so much. Meat is the easy part of hunting.

Bow, antlers... Gun, sure I like antlers, but after the first week, I'm filling tags.

Uhmmm lets see,,, I get up in the wee hours of the morning to freeze my butt off to not hunt for antlers..

Some of theards are really getting silly..

Meat.  If antlers were somehow the only thing I was allowed to keep from deer hunting I would not bother to hunt.

Glad I don’t have to limit myself.  I like both.  Meat got me started.  Antlers now get me in the stand more often as that is where the challenge lies.  Its pretty easy for me to fill a freezer.

Nothing like a nice a nice set of antlers to go along with backstrap cutlets! Gimmy both, and I'll be smiling!

Glad I don’t have to limit myself.  I like both.  Meat got me started.  Antlers now get me in the stand more often as that is where the challenge lies.  Its pretty easy for me to fill a freezer.  

If most had to get the antlers before they get the meat they would fold.

Obviously it’s more challenging to kill a mature buck.  Not only are they good at avoiding hunters but they make up a very small part of the total Deer Population.  No idea if people would fold.  That said FSW, we both hunt pretty good areas.   Not sure I would be as motivated if I hunted an area where I saw 2 deer a year.

No doubt but that said if I was going to be a hunter I would make sure I put myself in the best area possible or I would not bother.

Depends Some of the state land I hunt anything you can get is trophy 

Other places I hunt  I will hold out because I know there is,more there .
