my license plate light housing and plug for the spare tire from the sissy truck.  Just noticed it this morning.  Seriously?   What is wrong with people.  Trying to figure out which one of my empty-nester well-to-do neighbors is the culprit.  There will be a full investigation on this one!

S***bags....

Start looking for similar trucks, and banged up bumpers.

Keep those tailgates locked too guys.

We had a town work truck where overnight someone stole the tailgate, and all 4 wheels, and tires, and left it on paver blocks.

Looks good on the Subaru ! The thief must have never seen the truck owner .....

If you’re  like me, you’ll be checking every truck for miles around .

I had someone take my “ receiver hitch” a few years back , I believe it was at a girls B.B. game at Mercy High school of all places  , at least that’s where I noticed it gone .

AS long as it was you, all is good Larry.  Enjoy the free parts.  I can certainly understand wanting just some small piece of the sissy truck.  Kind makes your car the sissy Subaru!

In the last week I have basically been to work, home and at a church retreat.  Not your typical areas loaded with thieves.

Nothing ticks me off more than a scumbag thief!  Not too many trucks like yours around. Are the parts the same on a regular F-150, as they are on the Raptor?  Did you make any stops at a grocery store or a Wallmart?  Wouldn't think those just pop off in a second, so the SB need a little time to get them off without destroying them. Hope you find the sumbi... and get justice my friend!!!!

You can just twist and pop them off.  I think they are the same as an F150.  No major deal just a sad statement on society.

Were they LED housings from the factory? Maybe someones failed, and the price from Ford was sky high for what it is....i think into things like this too much at times, because I hate people who disrespect people's belongings.

Nope not Led.  The light is still there, just hanging.  They only took the light housing and plug that covers the hole to drop the spare.

Oh I see.  Maybe the guys who highjacked our work truck were trying to get your spare 35

We had someone cut the converters off three of the company vans one night. They are like $2000 each.  There were several places that got hit in the same area. They cut with a saw and gone. POS's.

Yep, I hear that is becoming common in Rochester too.

On my F-150 that "plug" for the spare was a lock that needed the truck key to remove it and lower the spare.

You may be right.  In 5 years I have never opened it.  I hope I don't have to rekey anything.

There was a solid flip open cover that revealed a key hole  like on the doors. The reason I know is becasue my was so rusted it wouldn't work and I had to cut it off to get the spare out...lol

Funny story , many years ago someone stole the solar cover off my sisters  pool during the night. The problem for the  thief was, when you drag a solar cover across lawns , it leaves a distinct path that even I can track .

One has to just shake his head at this, probably would have cost them maybe $5 from a junk yard. If they are willing to steal something like this makes you wonder what else they have stolen...

Not to steal your thunder but last weekend a scumbag backed into my parked motorcycle, stood it back up, threw the mirror into the grass and took off. The worst part is I know who it was. The cops called him and miraculously he's out of town with the company van he hit me with so the officer couldn't pay him a visit. He called him and he denies it. So I'm screwed basically. The shop insurance estimate is $3400. People really can be shit...

Well my aunt just had her purse snatched while in Barcelona.  Passport, cell phone, and cash were all in there.  Went to the US Consulate the first thing the very next morning to replace passport.  It opens at 9AM, we got there at 9:10 AM.  At least 12 other people in there ahead of us all for replacing stolen passports.

When I lived in PA. I bought the new trailer from Lowe's and they use a plastic plate holder below the driver side light where it can be lit up by the white plate light. In 2 trips to NY it was MIA on 81 somewhere. I paid for a replacement plate. A trip last week to the DMV in Pulaski to register the trailer in NY I get me new plate and come back to the cabin, install the new plate and take it up the road maybe 7 miles....get to Dave's service and no plate. Yeah...back in the truck and up and down the road 4x. No freaking plate. So back to Dave's to let him know I will be back, can't find the damn new plate. Off to the DMV get there, stand in line forever to find out I need to file a report with State Police and get a form from them to give to the DMV . Off to the police I go. Get my form and go back to the DMV to stand in line. Get another new plate and return to Dave's. He knew I was not happy. He said that I don't have to have the plate lit up in NY on a trailer so he mounted it on the fender where it's solid. What a day, so yeah I feel your aggravation.
