Just back in town and rushed out to my stand...I call this stand the Nest as I basically built a nest of beach branches to conceal me...very roomy as I shoot a long bow... I have two ladder stands leading into it, nestled between four oak trees. Hard to capture with a camera from inside.  Lots of acorns on the ground after earlier wind storm. No deer yet....

Well 2 for 3 with the kids so far. Gavin shot his doe at 5pm. I had my buddy go set in the barn with him and I am in my hang o. 30 yards above where I was last night. Had I of been in this stand the big 10 was as 8 yards. Making a scrape. Ended up seeing 5 buck last night and 19 doe. As of now watching 20 cows 1 bull 11 doe and 2 small buck.

Bigger 8 out now along with 15 turkeys. I think k I just heard the 220 swift cannon go off so we may be 3 for 3 with the kids now.

I've only killed 2 deer from the ground but those were the most memorable and heart pumping experiences I've had.

Not hunting but went for a jog tonight through FDR State Park in Yorktown. Saw 15 deer (10 does, 5 fawns). I stalked a bunch inside of 30yds. Too bad no hunting here. I bet there’s a bunch of swamp bucks here.

Saw a button and then a nice doe with a tall six pointer shortly following behind. She looked annoyed. She trotted off trying to loose him.  All deer were far.

Saw a real nice buck chasing a smaller buck off down the road from the property I hunt... Was just gonna check cams but after that i climbed into my stand with my work clothes on lol.. I usually have my bow case in my truck...

Saw about a dozen deer and when it got dark i saw a very big bodied deer skirt my stand.. Cam has a couple big boys.... Got me pumped!! 8H

3 for 3 for the kids. 8 10 and 13 year old kids and all 1 shot kills. I had a decent 9 at 6 yards for 10 minutes and gave him a pass. Had to have mom drive up to the gas well to move the 37 deer out of the field so I could get down as it was almost 8pm and they wouldn't leave o. Their own.

I didn’t see any but didn’t look up much. I was just spotting deer and stalking them for fun lol. I may have to go back in the winter and look for sheds. There’s gotta be giants in there

Home from work dressed and out the door heading to my lease.  Wish i could just take my gear to work and head straight out but not worth getting caught.

Woke up before the alarm even went off, so I thought I'd check out the forum and LinkedIn to kill some time! Still unsure which stand to try this morning...
