It’s been a long day. Been in the ground blind since 10am and just got home. Buck down #fromtheground. I’ll post more in the harvest thread tomorrow.

Some great bucks taken yesterday!  I heard more shots in the last 2 hours than I did all of opening day.  It was a great day to be out, saw some deer and enjoyed the light winds. A camera card check showed a nice 9 still alive and well. Heading out soon.

31 degrees snowing 1-3” expected. Going to change my plans can’t park where I want to hunt.

Almost had a doe 1/8 mile from property.not sure who's car was closer,mine or the paper delivery guy's!getting dressed in a few.hoping the ole mossberg barks this morning.good luck

Yuck....rain and high winds all day. Good thing too as my “brother” from Colorado is in town and the whole family coming for a “Thanksgiving breakfast” before he continues to his sister’s in DC area.

I always try to get in stand at least an hour before sunrise to give the area time to settle down and less likely bumping deer on way in...area seems to be settled down, just had a deer walk by in the dark about 10yds from my stand.

Sitting in the food plot this am hoping to catch one of these handful of nice bucks I've seen on cam stroll thru. I have tons of morning buck pics!! GL all

Just had more deer come by in the dark, sounded like chasing behind me, then ran by my stand. Hopefully this area stays this hot after sunrise.

My good friend Jack Daniels talked me into hunting a new spot on the property I haven’t been to yet this year. He also talked me into changing it up and bringing the 30-.06 out for the first time ever hunting with a rifle.

I just barley made it though the water without getting wet so that’s a plus already. Now if the deer will cooperate with Jacks plan I’ll be a happy man.
