Big for this particular area for sure. Most bucks there live more on browse and don't get as big body wise as those corn-fed farm bucks.

Chef
True we are getting to that point, half of my bucks are in velvet half have rubbed it off. Crazy year for me for trail cam pics. No real big bucks but the most bucks I have ever seen. Lots of small yearling bucks. I hunt a antler restricted zone and I’m hoping that the time year and the year after will be very good. I’m thinking I may see some serious rutting activity as I have more buck than doe pics Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
moog5050
Had 4 different sparing sessions on the plot cam over the last 5 days and most are now hard horned.

turkeyfeathers
3rd pic of giraffe doe. How cool would it be to have this archery shot ?
UpStateRedNeck
Bears, coyotes, a doe with a massive abscess on her, and this dude, who seems like he's looking for the title of Big Balls to get passed down. Hard to tell without both pictures, but nice and wide for up there. I'll be really fascinated to see what kind of racks these deer grow in a couple years once I get the phosphate in the soil up on half a dozen acres or so.
Fletch
Pretty slim pics, the biggest buck is a 2.5 yo 8. Pics of my neighbors dog chasing a deer. Lotsa does though so bucks will come.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Robhuntandfish
Same as Fletch for me. Me and Corey pulled cams at lease today. Lots of does and still only one buck. A decent 8 pointer. Not even another spike or forkhorn though. Pretty unusual.

We usually don't get a lot of preseason bucks but never just one. But at least it's a decent one. Was nice to walk around the lease today. Have to go fox one cam that is apparently low on batteries and turn one a little cause of the sun. But do that this week and then out til season

Hopefully more start moving around soon.

UpStateRedNeck
OK so does this look like the same Doe in picture 3 as pictures 1 & 2? If so, I'm impressed with how resilient the poor old girl is. Just looking at that thing makes me a little queasy. Also something black and fuzzy.
