Pic 2 Killed this 8pt out of the same Tree 2 Years later at only 7 Yards. Arrow actually pinned him to a Tree for a quick second. ncountry
Killed this 8pt out of the same Tree 2 Years later at only 7 Yards. Arrow actually pinned him to a Tree for a quick second Nice!... I killed a 7,8,9,10, and another 8 out of the same tree between Nov 9-11 different years. I think the same doe came in heat every year at the same time and led them past my stand... Worked 5 years in a row, I never stepped foot into this spot until Nov 9-11. I think someone killed my doe because it hasn't worked for 4-5 years now...damit...lol

132 eight pointer
My one and only big buck.Opening day of firearm in the southern zone (8F) 2005. Had the antlers scored after they were mounted, 132 gross / 130 net. I regret not having a full head mount done but I didn't have the dinero at the time.My buddy likes to tell me when he comes over how I should have had a mount done.I also didn't have time to weigh him but he is the biggest bodied deer I have ever killed too.Nice bucks everyone! NYbuck50
My biggest is one of these. All taken the last 5 years With how my scouting has gone this year, i will hopefully well surpass my biggest this season, as ive really been working on scouting specifically for mature buck sign instead of deer sign

jesse.james
I have no pics and cant even find the horns. Put it this way...thought it was a doe. Story. Well Ive been hunting this property since early bow. The last day of bow I see a monster cross the field but stayed out 100 yards from me. first week of rifle I see this smaller size deer slinking through the middle of the field. Head down. The rack blended in with the foliage. Pulled up my 308 and blam...the deer disappears out of site. Waited 20 mins and then I get down...cant pinpoint where i shot it and spend 25 mins stumbing around waist high dead grass. Finally I see it and as I walk up I swear!. young young 7 pointer. Im thinking offspring to the monster I saw. Couldnt have been much more than a 1.5yr old. Had I given it 2-3 more years P&Y or BC. I was elated at having my biggest buck and POed because had I saw the horns Id have let it walk.
