I would guess 2.5 based only on the mass of the main beams, but you all have more experience than me.  Nice buck regardless.  I would shoot him.

Culver... its only a very slight slope. I found his stance a little odd myself. Maybe its due to the cam sliding off center.

I'm on board with a big healthy 2.5 year old. He is real nice now, but If he gets through a couple more years he is going to be one impressive buck.

The actual body composition looks like a 2.5 YO, not much of a sagging belly or thick neck. The grey face and nice rack throw me to think it could be 3.5 but I still think it's a 2.5yo

yup, 3.5.  I guess that simply because few bucks live past 3.5.  he could be 4.5 or even 5.5 without a noticable difference, but teh probability of that age decreases dramatically in NYS.

I have seen a few 3 1/2s this year and they don't have their big broad necks yet.  They are starting to swell, but not quite there.  I know some people were going by the neck as a detail, but you really cant yet.  So I would throw that out the window by looking at that.  Going strictly by his body size; however, I would say you got a 3 1/2 there.

well with the sway in the back and the grey snout I'd say 3.5. I have seen a bruiser twice this season and his neck was filled out and that was in the beginning of the month. every other deer I've seen hasn't had a big neck yet. so I guess it depends like pickle said.

Tough one,  I can kinda see it at 3.5 but more like 2.5.  Very health animal and is eating well.

Sometimes I laugh at the aging thing. That's a shooter rack for 95% of hunters, so who cares? Haha. I guess it's fun to bs though
