Winds or not today might be my last day to bow hunt my land in Middlesex so I'm showering and heading down there to see if I can arrow a buck and get it done today ... good luck every1 out today

I just finished  raking all the leaves out of my stand yesterday, and then listened to the howling winds all last night.....lol. Yeah, I know I was jumping the gun by quite a bit, but I needed the exercise .... lol.

I sat 2pm till dark last night in a funnel and didn't see a deer. I don't ever recall seeing so few during bow season and I put in a ton of time.

 Heading out at noon to check my opening day stand in Letch Park 2.5 miles down, should be good exercise.

Serious winds in Middlesex harnessed in to my 150 yr old red oak just had 1 doe slip thru 50 yrds out no bucks in tow ....

Loggers aged it when they harvested select old trees but my stand is in it so it got left alone

Just had a shooter come by 60 yrds out couldn't get him to commit my way tried grunting him in he stopped a sec then continued walking ..

Saw 4 doe and I spike at 7:15 . They all disappeared by 7:25. Nuttin since.

Got out for 2 hours this morning in 8H.  Saw a small buck chasing a doe, but she wouldnt let him get close.  All activity stopped at 7:30 when the wind picked up.

Saw 2 more doe. They were milling around half way between me and some guy running a walk behind mower. Watched them feed for over 20 minutes. The mower didn't seem to bother them.

^{I wish I was in the woods but nope, sitting at my desk. All you guys are complaining about the wind....There isn't a breath of wind out here....My desk is located in 5R. I got my buck last Saturday in the most miserable day I could imagine....Blowing winds, Rain, Snow and Sleet.....Didn't think I was going to see a thing.}

I'm in the office in NYC, but my Dad just texted me. He saw a 8pt. 80 yards away at 11:10am. He tried bleat and then grunt to get him under 40 yards, but to no avail.
