No deer movement for me this morning. I will be hunting tomorrow before work again and then Fri. all day. Friday looks to be good for some much needed cooler temps.

i think right now you can expect a different result, does come into heat at different times and then it's buck circus time. Could happen anywhere anytime! That's what I'm hoping for anyway

New rubs and scrapes showing up. All bucks yesterday afternoon, but no shooters. Small eight in the radish this am, at 22 yards. Doe have been nocturnal for several days.  Round three is near. Going to be a busy next few.

My season is done as well. Had the best season in my 5 seasons of bowhunting despite not taking a buck. Got 2 does in the freezers and passed on multiple smaller doe as well as an 8pt, two 4pts, and a few spikes. Also had 2 monster bucks in bow range, things just didn't work out. Amazing season.

Work meeting got pushed back. In the stand until guy gets close. Have two hours. Bumped a few does getting in... Not expecting much...

The woods are already ringing out with gunfire as the orange army does it's annual one day pre-hunt shooting practice. It seems the neighbors invariably like to target practice right next to the property line too. Got a spike on camera chasing 3 doe. Cute

Target practice for the neighborhood was yesterday afternoon while I was on stand.....three doe who milled around we not bothered at all.

The hills are alive with the sound of gunfire indeed lol time to hang the bow up. Heard 30 shots in the last 2 hours seems people are getting ready....I hope the weather stayes cold and dry

I left the stand in Mendon at 10:30 . Ended up seeing 8 anterless deer and 1 spike . The wind was picking up pretty good and I figured it was time to leave . Didn't get to try out my "Moog String" on any deer .

Awe gun season! It's my favorite time of yr! All the guys who have not been in the woods all yr long! Cut all the deer off! Shoot 5 times because they can! The woods is so alive with bright orange! Lmao!! Can't wait to hang up the bow and play gun hunter!!

Just WHIFFED on a doe. Clean miss- a thing of beauty!!! 32 not 25. Almost grunted her back in but she blew me up pretty quickly once down wind. Hope that was not my chance for tonight
