How do you store your bow

So how do you guys store your bow? I keep it stored year round in a plano bow case, but i was wondering if there are better options out there.

Same here, I was told by the dealer where I bought it that storing it in a case should be fine as long as the case is stored in a good consistent climate. You wouldn't want to store the case like say in the attic where in the summer the temperatures could reach 100 degrees or in the trunk of your car where the temperatures could very a lot.

Bow I had a couple years ago was hung on the wall is a soft case. Bows I have had in the past were always in a hard shell case under my bed or in a closet.

Keep mine in a hard case in the garage.Never had a problem.

I have all my bows  ( 7) on hooks in the garage.  3 are hunting and 4 are 3D or NFAA setups...

All my bows are hanging on hooks in my reloading room in the basement. They are hanging from the ceiling and take up a lot of room but the walls are covered with antlers and mounts.

I have an elaborate and sophisticated system for hanging my bow, I pounded two nails partway  into the basement wall .

Sadly I don't own one so my current bow is being stored at Cabela's until someone else buys it. Then it is replaced and "my bow" is still at Cabela's

Always store on hooks in my "hunting" room. Full time AC is a must here.

I used to hang my Practice Bow in the garage but it has been too hot lately . The garage seems to hold heat even with the roof vents . I keep the bow in the house in a plastic case .

I like this idea Larry.  Since you live close by, would you be willing to help me install such a bow management system?

Usually the last one I shot in the basement hangs from the hook, the last one I took somewhere is still in the skb hybrid case and the 3rd one lays on top of that case.

varies.  my recurve is in a silicone cloth sleeve un-strung.  my wife's Stiletto is in her black and pink soft case.  My indoor ProElite target bow is in a hard case under the bow bench doing nothing.  My new Elite Victory outdoor 3D bow is hanging up on a hook next to the bench partially setup.  hanging next to it is my EVO/primary hunting compound that I'm using for 3D's right now.  Next to that is my previous stripped hunting/3D bow (Bowmaddness 3G) that I hope to get setup for my brother if he's not so cheap someday.  oh and I've got an old cheap compound that was actually my first bow that is sitting with pile of stuff for a garage sale.

point is they all get checked on once in a while and aren't just thrown outside in the wood shed.

Sure it may require drilling holes through your bows limbs though .

Seems reasonable.  I doubt it will effect the bow at all.
