That's it for me today huntcation over. I've got roughly 50 hrs of hunting in this week with only 4 sightings ( pretty pathetic). I've still had a blast spending the better part of my days in the woods. Beats the hell out of work that's for sure. I'm off to spend some time with the wife like I promised. I will be at it again hard on Thanksgiving weekend. Good luck to everyone still out.

Laid my hands on a 185” 18pt today at WNY bowhunters.   Crazy.   Those Steuben bucks can grow huge.  Pic doesn’t do justice of general mass either

Snow leaving quickly with the warm up. Sounds like it is raining gravel with the slush coming off the trees. The noise must have the deer spooked and moving. I’ve heard more shots since noon than opening weekend an yesterday combined.

But I do think being overly cold can tax your body’s immune system. Maybe make you more susceptible
