So a local place is selling cannoli donuts. Part of proceeds go to Hospice.  Only available a few days. Alarm set for 4:30. I get there at 5:01 and they open at 5:00.  Rare Saturday off of work so sleeping in was an option.  Daughter mentioned these special donuts and taking SAT’s today. So being the dad I am I figured what the heck. Wife will take some to work too. Hopefully our golden retriever doesn’t help herself to them as she did twice to the bagels I muled back from our Westchester trip. Dodged deer along the way and saw a big coyote trot across the road. Oh yeah it’s 6 degrees out. Here’s the line at 5:01. Weighed the dozen as don’t know the PA chest measurement guide to donuts. 9.6 pounds of sugary goodness.

Love Paula's doughnuts.  Had an electrical whole sale rep use to bring 2 boxes in  from buffalo every month .  They are so big they make 3 of a dd doughnut. Fresh and tasty. Never had a cannoli  doughnut  .

My neighbor was the town supervisor, people threw a fit when he gave Paula’s Donuts a $7k tax break to come to Clarence. I wonder if that came back to us in sales tax, a dozen or so jobs, etc? People are so short sighted
