Gencountyzeek
Sooo excited for this to be happening. Always wanted a pond back here and its reality. The farmer has for years tried to move this rock and could never get it to budge...only the top 1ft was exposed, crazy big boulder. Ill have more pics to go along as more progress happens.

First-light
Looks great! My neighbor is doing the same thing. Guys been there for a week now with a dozer. Putting in an acre pond 10' deep in areas. Trading 30 mature Hemlock trees for it.

grampy
Looks great so far Zeek!!! Leaving that boulder in the center would be cool! And provide some nice structure for whatever fish you decide to stock. Keep us posted on the progress!

G-Man
Make sure you stock the crayfish and minnows 1st and wait a year to let them really get established. Free permit from your countys soil and water district, and they may sell stock as well. A half acre pond can only support 200 lbs of fish with out supplemental feeding , so make sure your sticking ratios are correct .
