In France when they were attacked it was an Isis issue. In Belgium when they were attacked it was an Isis issue. When the Russians were attacked it was an Isis issue. When we are attack its not an Isis issue but a gun control issue. What wrong with this picture?

Visited the peregrines this morning after getting back from a week of vacation and found that two young falcons have successfully fledged. Here's a few shots from today and some other recent photos.

I hope all are following what is happening in Orlando.. It boils my blood to see such things take place on American soil. I hope all realize the significance and reality of what is taking place in the United States. I urge all to stay vigilant and if possible, armed. This isn't a post to get everyone riled up, but everyone should come to the realization that this could take place literally anywhere. These people are amongst us. I'm sick of seeing Americans die at the hands of these scum bags. This will all quiet down in a couple weeks and everyone will go back to their normal lives until the next attack. It may not happen in your neck of the woods, but if it does, you need to be prepared. God Bless America.

We were done by 1:00 saturday afternoon! Weather man was all wrong and we didn't get a drop of rain! My brother is amazing at this stuff and gave us a big jump coming up Thursday. Checked the cameras and had a few small bucks and one bear. My neighbor showed me his picts and he has two piebald bucks!! I was a great weekend and that project is finally done!!

Usually both eyes CLOSED.............

I will just say that they do not take kindly to getting too close to their "nest" which just happens to be on the first floor of our barn. I WAS gonna work on bracing the second floor platform but momma was pretty insistent that I vacate her territory. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Everything I have read says learn to shoot with both eyes open. I shoot both my guns and bows with left eye closed (except when I am shooting the bow purely instinctive inside of 15yds). I seem to get double vision trying to focus with both eyes open. On the bright side, the deer seem less concerned when they notice my eye closed. I suspect they think I am sleeping.

I don't think this one will go away too quickly, since it will be turned into a "Mass Shooting" demanding more gun control, just like Sandy Hook. The terrorism aspect will be spun, denied, excused and ignored.

And rushed home today to catch my daughters last two tournament games, which they won! Great weekend

This past Friday I got back from a business trip to Nashville in the afternoon, and was out on a friends boat on Honeoye Lake around 7pm or so. Caught some largemouth and a perch on a jerk bait and then switched to top water just before sunset. We caught so many on topwater that we quit counting after 10 or 15 minutes. It was a great time! Heres a pic that one of the guys snapped. Sunday, I headed down to the farms and got 4 of my trail cams setup. I used some home made screw in mounts, which were great setting up. We will see how well they hold up.

Lol- I'll have to ask my sister what kind of pants they were! That was on opening day of deer season and my ol' man wouldn't let me out of the house with a gun unless I was head to toe in BO. Since my pants were in the laundry and I really wanted to hunt, that was my only option! I laugh every time I see that pic,lol Thanks for all the compliments!

The old timers that I learned from, drilled in to me,"both eyes open". "So you can perfectly see what you're shooting at"! That's the way I'm teaching my Grandsons. It's worked ok for me.

Ok broke down bought a slicer at cabela's. Sliced thin it makes a great samwich.

Just grilled up some cube steaks on the grill and had baked potatoes to go with. Was in Corning for a soccer game until 630. We won 5-2. Girls are 7-0 with one game left and have out scored opponents 31-4.

These aren't hunting related, well they could be I suppose. I purchased some wireless head phones for working out. They had a problem and wouldn't hold a charge...so I called the company..Man I do not say this often, but it was seriously the BEST customer service I have seen in years. My new set is on it's way. I did have to pay for return shipping but minimal, so I haven't an issue with that.

Ive had Skullcandy headphones for years. Great products. I wish my ear buds would die so Id have an excuse to buy bluetooth ones lol.

I'm glad to hear. I planted the same on Sunday, I never planted feed corn before, hope it germinates. The local ag store tried selling me sweet corn seed for $280.00 per bag. That's too expensive for deer corn.

What caused them to leave the property during hunting season, we still had hens, only to return right after season ended...hhhmmmmm

Just heard that they dropped the death toll to 49 because they decided not to count the POS coward who did this.
