  11. I'm so sick of the horrible coverage from the media . Could you imagine if Obama had stocked a warehouse full of ventilators when he was in office, the news would be calling for his return to the White House. The news keeps putting the blame on the federal level ,if that's the case then why do we have state officials ? Everyone want to be a big boy until it's time to do big boy stuff . This is no time for finger pointing ,the government as a whole has let us down . That's all the news reports about is who blamed who .

  13. Today I started cutting a few trails for my quad around the property. I cut my way through, dragged out the saplings, and wood, and burned everything as I went. Only made it about 150’ but it was nice to get this going, it has been on my “want to do” list for a while now.

  19. Did some casting from shore yesterday at my friends lot on Lake Ontario. Caught one and lost one. A few guys were trolling close to shore thru some patches of fog on the lake. Put fish back in water to fight another day.

  21. Got out on the water with the new rig. Didn't really fish only about 15 minutes, but spent 2 hours going thru how to work everything and to put some break in time on the motor. Worked on Fish finder and trolling motor etc. Nice to be on the water and Think I got most of it figured out. Then some outside chores and I think the pup needs a nap.

  26. How about the fact China hid all info for months, the World Health Org said it wasn't contagious, the Democrats were hawking a BS impeachment when they knew about the virus, the media calling Trump xenophobic for trying to close the border to travelers from China and Pelosi ripping up the SOTU speech which had a warning about this virus in it? Stay at Home is a Governor's power, not the POTUS. Rule of Law applies. Your swallowing all of the leftist talking points while ignoring the truth. Trump is the only one in the entire picture trying to stop this crises. Everyone else is using it to play partisan political games. From day one, Trump's opponents have been doing nothing but trying to place the blame for this crises on his shoulders and making the problem worse has been their modus operandi. Who do you think is doing more to correct this crises, which is about to destroy the economy as well? Democrats are gleefully hoping all of this prevents Trump's re-election. If they win in 2020, expect to see this crises used to take away more of your freedom and increase your taxes 10 fold within 4 years.

  32. So I found a frozen duck that I had left over from a box of samples I had from work. Decided to pull the breast off which will be tomorrow’s dinner, the legs and some of the fat will be made into confit and ultimately cassoulet. The rest is being roasted for duck stock. Not really sure what I’m going to do with it but I’m making duck stock Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  34. When I was out in Oklahoma on a hunting trip last fall the guides wife cooked us some hamburgers and a pork loin on a traeger grill. The food was awsome that came off that thing. Today I bought one for home. I'm seasoning it now. Hopefully this week I will have something good to eat off of it. I can't wait!

  36. Usually, it is church with the family in the morning and then dinner over at my folk's place. Sadly, that won't be happening this year. I remember at one of them dinners a few years ago, my mom asked if we wanted a "Palm Sunday". She asked that we hold out our hands, into which she plopped in a scoop of ice cream. Luckily, I did not go first. I was the only one who chose not to participate. She mentioned that yesterday, when we had a family on-line face-time get-together. My sister is the only one who is now allowed to go into our folk's house. The highlight of the meeting for me yesterday, was when I asked my sister to fetch the antler my dad found out on the clover field a week ago. She brought it in and held it up for me. I was able to identify it as being from the big buck I saw over there a few times thru archery season last year. I was not sure if he made it thru gun season, but now I know he did. Based on that shed, there is no doubt that he was at least 3.5 years old last year. I definitely have something to look forward to this fall. With the minimized selection available in stores (no hamburg or chicken), our venison consumption is up a bit and we are down to about two deer left in the freezer. Fortunately, the fish supply is holding up good also, because there is no telling if or when the boat launches will be open. More importantly, we all have something to look forward to, as a direct result of something that started on Palm Sunday 2020 years ago. That was when our Savior got on that donkey, and started His ride to the big city, where He would be tried and executed on our behalf. Because of that sacrifice, which paid the full price for all of our mistakes, we will all have a much better forever. Many are suffering today, but cheer up because next Sunday is a comin (along with deer hunting this fall).

  39. It’s remarkable, I was reading last week about how leaders approval ratings sore in times of trouble. GW Bush saw approval ratings in the 90 percentile range after 9/11, Obama’s rose after Bin Ladens killing, Clinton’s was 67% after impeachment and Trumps struggled to hit 50% and is dropping rapidly already. Trumps approach to this is giving the election to Biden or anyone they put against him I predict.

  44. If this was solely a NYC problem I would have no issue sending whatever was needed down their to help. The fact is though upstate and WNY also face the same problem as NYC. NYC is about a week or two weeks ahead of us in the scale of this. So as soon as all the ventilators and PPE’s are taken From here and shipped downstate we will be right in the thick of things with no ventilators or PPE’s to help. That’s why us upstate folk don’t like downstate taking our stuff for the greater good. We also need to be prepared for what’s coming because it is. No ones life is more important than the next persons I don’t care if you’re from upstate or downstate. Famous or homeless we are all worth the same. Cuomo himself has been saying we need to be prepared for the worst case. Well if he pulls all of upstates supplies we will no longer be prepared for the worst of it which is just right around the corner. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
