1. My 9 point crossbow buck. I might have gone a little overboard with the habitat decor but once I started I couldn't stop! First wall pedestal mount I ever mounted. I got a long way to go but I'm getting there Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

 2. Picked up a “what the hell” gun for $50. 1925 Crescent New Empire hammerless double barrel .410. I figured at worst it’s a wall hanger/paper weight, but if it shoots it’ll be a fun bonus.

 3. Another buck from the same member. The pictures do not do this 171" giant any justice. It's probably the biggest form I've ever used. The deer has a great story to go with it with multiple years of history and close encounters. Truely and NYS buck of a lifetime!

 4. I tried ice fishing this morning for the first time in my life. Went out with@crappyice@chef @the jerkman Not much action but it was a cool experience. Crappy caught one short laker (not 21 inches so it couldn’t be kept). When I left at 11 AM I counted 22 cars parked which seems crazy for such a small reservoir only 116 acres. While we saw a ton of guys out there we didn’t see much action for anyone else either. Gilead in Carmel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

 5. Since I've gotten in a number of bucks to mount from members of this forum, I thought it would be cool to post some of them. Several are real STUDS. I won't reveal the names of the members on here unless they themselves want to chime in. We'll start off with this beautiful youth season buck killed by a member's son. Love those early season capes! I'll update the thread as I get them finished up and ready to go home. Ive got 4 more member's bucks on the drying wall right now and a couple more on deck to get mounted up this weekend.

 6. 20+ holes cut, 12 tip ups, 4 jigging rods, shiners, wax worms, spikes, spoons, pimples, deep water (80+ feet- fishing both off the bottom and right under the ice), shallow water (20’) and one lake trout that was seemingly born seconds prior to capture. Good to be out nonetheless. And one quite touching moment for Biz-R-OWorld & The Jerkman as they tag-teamed a false flag! Spoke to one guy on the walk out who caught a 17” lake trout but that was it for him all day. And one abandoned (and recovered drill...guess who left that behind! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

 9. Hunters Favorite Chili from a Time/Life cookbook. It was the first game recipe I ever cooked and I have stuck with it for almost 30 years. My Father in law gave me a backstrap and I had no clue, so I chopped it up into bite size pieces and took it from there. Now I know better, this was made from stew pieces. 7 from Tree House in the background, the last of my niece's Xmas gift to me. Not pictured is my wife's homemade Honey Cornbread. I'm stuffed and very happy, may crack a new bottle of bourbon later! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

 14. My Grandpa’s old barn gun is a Crescent Arms Peerless Model 12 gauge. I used to go peer into his gun cabinet through the glass door as a youngster admiring his beautiful old guns. This was one I never saw, and my grandmother handed it to long after his passing saying that it was always in the barn when they had their small farm. There is a bent over nail in place of a screw on the stock and the action doesn’t lock up real tight anymore. I did shoot it...once...in my younger, more daring years. I used the lightest load I could find. Upon pulling the trigger (with my eyes closed and it held down away from my face because I knew what I was doing was a bad idea but I was not one for self control) the action popped open. Now, it hangs here on the wall. It’s actually the reason I started the thread a while back about getting a new side by side. According to the interwebs, production date of this one is 1910. Your .410 is super cool! I’d have jumped on it as well. I’d be willing to bet after having a gunsmith check it out, you’d be able to enjoy it safely! What model is it? 18. Brian Pragle really does a great job on Euros. I have maybe 6-7 done by him. The one on the left is several years old and has aged well. The one on the right I picked up today from this past season. It was a hunter injured buck that I decided to put down. He was unable to bend his rear legs and pretty much had to hop with his rear legs dragging as if they were locked straight as a 2x4. He had a death warrant unfortunately and was absolutely rotting from an arrow wound in the spine midway back and a low forward brisket shot. Smelled horrible. Unfortunately he was a great 2.5 with a busted G2 and was one we had been watching and hoping he would make it through the season. Such is life. But he will be the first buck to go on the barrel pedestal for 2020.

Whos scrounging what lmao I dont need ammo for.ateast 20 years and as far as owning stuff dont go there bud a couple people on here know what I have and own so trust me when I say iam.not hurting but to complain about 30$ for a membership when your cell phone bill is probebly double or triple makes no sense to me to each there own

 20. It's pretty good ...if you go there for ammo make sure you get there before 10am for the pistol ammo and the exotic rifle ammo like 300 black out and 450 bushmaster because it's gone quick they have one whole shelf of shotgun ammo from 12ga and 10ga turkey loads to waterfowl that hardly gets touched so it's always full...they also have a bow section and varmint section that isnt bad I picked up a couple new traps while I was there

 24. ...and being the world's policeman is why half the world hates the USA!!! They view it as a form of USA imperialism. The USA exerting and imposing it's will, morals, and ethics on them. It needs to be the UN with other countries having skin in the game.

 27. You care about how a POTUS makes you feel. I care about results. Obama made the left feel good while destroying the country with hatred of police and division among citizens. All the while killing jobs, freedom and the Constitution. He spied on US citizens, changed the law so he could kill them and ran guns to Mexican cartels illegally. He worked against business by having banks attack their credit ability and allowed terrorists to expand their power and reach. He illegally attacked conservative non-profits with the IRS. He is a Marxist and a racist that despises America. I don't see how people on the left don't see it, other than they are blinded by the propaganda the TV feeds them every night. They believe what they are told to believe to their own demise. Trump got results. He improved everything in this land. He lifted up every citizen, no matter their race, color or creed. He had the best economy ever until the left killed it with CV-19. He also exposed the corruption in our government and they destroyed him because of it. Again, people on the left don't see it, because they are blinded by the hateful propaganda the TV feeds them every night. They believe what they are told to believe to their own demise. To despise trump is to despise all that is good in America. That is why the left is such a threat to this country.

 31. The UN, which is made up of many countries that do not do the same in their country, are supposed to act together and vote to impose sanctions, humanitarian aid, and inspections. The USA alone cannot succeed here. Here is the problem with the UN system. This is raised as an issue and voted on. Countries assess, in many different ways, how this impacts them. Many countries turn to the USA and want some benefit for their vote. Others will turn to China to "sell" their vote. Doesn't the UN sound like our Senate! On another point, my understanding is this is an anti-Muslim/Islam genocide going on in China. Where are the Muslim nations in condemning this? Where is Isis and the other Islamic extremist terrorist groups? Shouldn't they be the most vocal ones attacking China on this?

 32. Ok,here we go. I think a president should set a good example for everybody,at the least be civil and decent, you know lead by example. Obama checked those for me,Trump failed all three. Obama actually is smart where Trump wants to appear smart. That leads to the fact that as a leader you should surround yourself with the most qualified people in their respective areas and listen to their input as they are the experts. Obama did that,Trump tried to be the smartest person in the room. Chlorox as a covid cure anyone? Or light from inside the body? I guess it is mainly about character and honesty for me. Trump lied about the dumbest shit because he needs to appear great. The inauguration crowd? Stormy Daniels? Talking about grabbing women by the pussy? In my opinion Trump is a complete fraud who only got to where he is by starting out rich and bullying and playing people and the system. He had some smarts in that area. I dont hate Trump by the way,a looser like that doesnt deserve that deep of a feeling, plus it is not good for oneself to be hating. Trump was the big divider, his way or the highway. Did anyone fire more of his staff? I was very glad to have Obama at the helm when the great recession hit. I think that was handled pretty well. I also think in general Obama's speeches were more about hope and positive things where Trumps were more combative. I dont think admitting that America is not perfect is acceptable,no country or person is. To pretend the opposite is delusional and counterproductive. As far as policies go i think Obama tried to work with other leaders where Trump just tried to dominate. I dont know about you guys, but i know who i would rather deal with. What is truly amazing to me is that so many people were willing to look past all of Trumps flaws and mis-steps and to follow him blindly. Can anyine explain that to me? You may agree with his politics, but as a critically thinking person how can you not see what a malicious doofus he is? I am not excited about Biden by the way,I wish Bernie had gotten thw nomination. Here is a politician that has stood by his principles forever.

 33. I do not know much about the Crescent brand but two things caught my eye. First it is a sidelock which leads me to believe it is a decent quality gun and second it is a 410 which will mean it is a very rare chambering and possibly worth some serious dough compared to the fifty bucks you paid although as they say condition is everything. I can see the stock is kind of rough but as long as there is no cracks (usually behind the sidelock plates) it can be spruced up and be refinished and the checkering recut. The metal itself looks to be in decent shape although the bluing is pretty much gone. Probably not chambered for 3 inch shells either so stick with the 2 1/2 inchers. As long as she locks up tight and no dents in the barrels it should be safe to touch off. Al

 43. I'd really love to hear the whole story, beginning to end of this buck, and how the "hunter- member" was able to seal the deal. No doubt there is a fantastic story here! I hope that he, or she, will share with us, what no doubt is an epic string of hunts!!!!

 44. Here's a better pic from the back... You really can't appreciate the mass on this deer or the size of it's head until you see it one a wall with other mounts. I had to replace the head on this form with the biggest replacement head I could find. You would swear this deer came from the northern bush county of western Canada!

 45. Why is the Northern Zone even being talked about? The management plan does not have a Northern Zone holiday hunt. The hunt is for the southern zone. You need to read the plan. Dirt just to let you know the birth rate of bucks to does is about 1/1.
