Not live...but I helped my dad seal the deal this morning on a late season limbhanger. He never gobbled on the roost but the hunt was over by 5:45. He's tagged out and I have a babysitter now!

Well found a new project not as old as the willys but a 1995 Chevy k1500 with plow and 5.7,silverado.. 22610 original miles been off road since 2002..⁸easy fix up ,new rear bumper, tires ( dry rot) and a few exhaust leaks.. only vehicle I own with no lights on on dash...lol.. couldn't pass it up. For 1k.

Working from home today and got a pic at 9:59am from my cell cam, located ~125 yards from my house! LOL Big friggin' bird!! Been playing cat and mouse with this MOFO all season! My blind is right in the corner of the the field! He's passes by there quite frequently mid-morning. Might have to pack a breakfast (or 3 ) of these days and sit out there all morning.

Didn't seal the deal, but a cool hunt this morning. Around 7:30 it's warming up and I'm thinking this is about it for me. I let go a last call, pretty aggressive set of yelps on the box call and I get some yelps in return, not too far from me. I answer back and she's moving in. My hopes of course is that this girl fight attracts some dudes or she has a boyfriend in tow. Well I see her movement about 50 yards in the brush and she's leaving. I call again and she comes back in fuming. We spend the next 45 freaking minutes together. At one point she came within 5 yards of me. For a good 15 minutes she just nested on a log haha. I know my calling is average at best, but I didn't know it was gay. I'm 3 for 4 on calling in hens this year haha

Finally figured out why Bill's pictures are never right side up. He waits for the turkeys by hanging upside down from a tree limb. I guess the turkey's think he's a bat and pay him no mind. LOL

If the sign isnt on the door Im not putting one on. The pool store had a sign so I wore one. Im getting truly pissed off that my daughter has to wear one playing softball. Its over 100 degrees on the turf field. If a kid gets hurt they should sue the school back to the stone age. Theyve been told by every expert that masks are unnecessary outside and Id argue theyre dangerous

I got a couple of brutes on my camera this morning. They have both been around my place on and off for a couple of years at least.

Didnt take my kids long with the nice weather to dive into the lake. I personally think they are crazy but they stayed in for an hour.

I went into BB to look at TVs. Majority of customers with masks, but the dept manager in the TV section was maskless, so, off went my mask. I looked around and paid attention - it was more like 50-50 masks overall. It felt like liberation - a bra burning party type of liberation LOL. Dude got me for $1,700. LG OLED for the win.

Our daughter was at the doctors for a check up yesterday, the nurse also works at the urgent care and said that in the last week over 100 parents brought children in with just a basic cold and over 20 parents called about what to do . The hysteria is running wild.

Go figure - I'm WFH and on a meeting, when my wife (who runs a daycare at our place) said I needed to go get our daughter from school. Turns out, she was overheating on the bus before it left to come home. Had to wear a mask, couldn't drink her water on the bus, etc. They brought her inside the AC office, and she started feeling better immediately. She said she was getting hot from the mask and sitting on the bus waiting for the kids to board.

I refereed a Varsity girls lacrosse game in WNY last night and the turf was on fire.....well over 100 at game time. Not one mask worn on the face.....many on the chin. The girls who took the draw did pull their mask up and out of respect for them as did I. TC your right about going after the school if someone gets hurt wearing one. I believe all the language about masks and high school sports references not wearing it if the palyers feel like it impacts their breathing. So the coach shouldn't be harping on it. Anyone see #10 or 11 percussion caps anywhere? I've been playing with BP revolvers a lot lately, and I have more than enough powder and ball but I can't find caps anywhere. It's a sad day when the ammo shortage has extended to early 19th century technology.

There are many old cartridges no longer available, if you are a handloader you can probably form usable brass cases from some still existing rounds the obsolete case is based on. I found this outfit "Ammunition Artifacts" that does a bunch of case forming obsolete cases for handloaders, not cheap but at least you can make some ammo for that old rifle or handgun.
