Tree stand snacks

Egg salad, hot chocolate, pea soup and some little snackers of some sort.  If I'm not successful, I'll stay up in my climber from around 6:15am until about 5:00pm. 

 

No cigars this year.  First time in probably 35 years.  (I hope I can still kill a buck!!)

 

Only two things get me down to the ground on opening day, a dead buck or mother nature.........................

Cold cut sandwich, peanuts already out of the shell so there's no work, pretzels, a protein bar just in case and to drink in the morning a thermos of hot chocolate and water at lunch. I need to be able to enjoy myself out there

I usually don't have any snacks on stand since I load up during breakfast and lunch but I do have a couple Oreo or nature valleys just in case.

I'm an all dayer for the first weekend of gun. I will have a couple sandwiches, a couple granola bars, some reeses  or snickers, my coffe thermos, and how ever many waters that leaves room for. Then I complain about all the junk I have to carry.

I carried in a leftover blackened chicken sandwich today. I think it stunk worse than the doe urine. So much for scent free.

A sandwich, apples, a drink, and some candy bars, and a check list. All day shooting video unless I shoot something bigger than a six, good luck, make the most of it, and be careful out there.

If I don't get anything, I will sit until 5pm.  I will bring a sub for lunch and then some protein bars, apples, cookies, and beef jerky for snacks.  I also bring a thermos of coffee and some gatorade.  

 

May as well make myself comfortable for the long day!

I don't really have anything. Except a morning coffee before I leave the house. The last thing I want is to have to poo while out in my spot. Then be uncomfortable all the rest of the day

I usually take a sammich, could be PBJ or Turkey or Ham, a granola bar or breakfast bar, some jerky, dried fruit, trailmix or something like that. I also bring apple cider to drink. Thats if its going to be a long sit. On a short one, just the apple cider and a little something to snack on, no sammy.

For an all day sit its a ziplock bag of nuts, seeds, raisins and an apple and water. I try to keep it low scent.

I'll chow down big time when I get home.

I sit all day.  I've been bring fried chicken, a few cold egg rolls and two bottles of water for the past few years.

Best invention ever - the soups in a sip can. A few will heat themselves, but the basic Campbell's at walmart are much cheaper - take one and put in your muff and take a rubber band and put your hand warmers around the can. By the time midday comes, the can is nice and heated and the warmers do double duty keeping your hands warm.

 

Always need some water, a sandwich or two, and some snacks.
