Do You Wear Hunter Orange When Getting To Your Stand?

I am curious. If I am not sitting, I always have an orange vest on in Public land.

I always wear it when i'm walking to the stand but its 50/50 if i take it off or leave it on while in the stand.

Yes I do most of the season only for my safety.It realy don't matter what we wear out in the woods cause you will allmost allway's have some that will shoot anything that move's.Some time's it is good to have atleast your spot marked/tree you are sitting at

I was wearing a bright ass blue hat when I shot my doe yesterday( couldn't find my orange one) but yes. The deer seeing your orange is the last Of your worries.

gun season head to toe or hat and big vest..thats private land....bow no...though the last 2 weeks I'll have a hat on when moving during light hours...normally I am going in in the dark and coming out in it...

it's not the weapon you have to worry about, it's the guy behind.......the same guy who would accidentally shoot someone during gun season is likely to be just as careless with a longbow or crossbow.

Is there any chance that the Massachusetts case was an accidental discharge of a crossbow?  Otherwise, I can't imagine how you could hit a target with an arrow from a regular bow and not know what you were shooting at.

Same here. I walk in in the dark so no orange. If I shoot something I'll put on the orange hat and vest from my backpack. Otherwise the orange hat is hanging by my head while in stand
