Had a small doe running circles around my stand this am. For 10 min literally would run back and fourth. I was waiting for a buck behind her but never showed.

Nice bucks following doe now not.chasing just following..it's getting closer

I've had small bucks chasing does around for about a week now. A few new scrape lines popped up in the last few days. Still mainly getting deer movement the last 45 min of day light or at first light.

4 pt I shot today didn't even stink yet, I was surprised.

They are still nocturnal in 9Y. Scrapes are being worked pretty

hard at night.

9H. Called blind and a nice 6 pt came in. He scattered bunch of does. Hunting from ground blind with 13 yr old son. He cam to 30 yds but offered no shot. Son still shaking

8M Saw what looked to be a 2.5 year old buck hounding does around 4:30pm yesterday. He was grunting, and sticking tight to them. Within 25 yards but no shot.

4O the bucks were running around yesterday and pushing the doe's. Had one in back of the house and my wife had 3 doe's being pushed off the hill as she went to town... We are in the town of Franklin and on Swart hollow road.

Saw some bucks scent-checking doe last night in 8A. Lots of nighttime activity on scrapes. No chasing yet though (that I've seen). Whether it's on or not, it's close and it's crazy not to be in the woods. Got to go...

4O the bucks were running around yesterday and pushing the doe's. Had one in back of the house and my wife had 3 doe's being pushed off the hill as she went to town... We are in the town of Franklin and on Swart hollow road.

Hey Bill, I'm over in 4O harpersfield just north east of you and all the does are just hanging around like its mid-summer.  No signs of any bucks yet.

3s my buddy had a mama and fawns in tow. She hasn't ditched them yet so we are still waiting for things to get going here. Also had a spike just milling about with no interest in her. Would expect the dopey sex craved teenager to try something with her even if she was getting anywhere close to ready.

On my commute from Dutchess, through Putnam to Westchester, there were 4 new dead bucks on side of road. All smaller bucks, fours and sixes.

Went down taconic today and saw a few today as well that weren't there yesterday.

Been dead here (7F) for the past few days. A few small bucks just milling around. Had a spike rubbing on a little sapling this morning. Thats been it. Had a big buck shagging does last Fri. and a basket rack nose to the ground, but since then nothing?? Thought this morning would be hot. Still early

A couple dandy bucks ripped up the property last night, but they were loners, not on the does yet. Had a four-pointer trailing a doe. Here's a couple shots of them, but these two are still nocturnal and not on the does yet.  Things are ready to pop here in 9Y.

Had a buck dog a doe pretty hard for a little while today till she finally lost him. Looks like it's starting to ramp up.

Saw six doe this morning. Saw twelve this evening on different property. No bucks seen. But new rubs and scrapes all over. Oh well, thats deer huntin!
