I have a place 5 minutes from home that I shoot (not legally though) early morning on the weekends the past few years.   I take my block and wife after she secures her T Horton’s coffee, she sips while I shoot.  
 

It’s a beauty of a morning today with perfect temperatures, even the smell in the air is right.

It’s the same Thule rack I’ve had on several trucks now.  When I get a new truck I leave the plates on the old one and just buy new ones.  I put the plates on 4-5 months ago and the rack has been on a couple times now.  We needed my ladder at work this week so I took it in.   The ladder is off and hanging in the garage as of 20 minutes ago.

My first two shots were from 40 tonight, wanted to see broadhead next to field point at that distance... not too bad at all. I could probably bring the micro adjust over just a hair but I think I’ll leave it alone

That's part of my trigger. Crisp morning, Canada geese honking overhead, and that smell of fall foliage.

When that happens I'm checked out of the rest of life until after deer season.
