Won't be posting from my stand. It's simply too damn cold. I've never killed one with a bow or crossbow when it's this cold. Let's hope calmer conditions get them moving.

Well...two different spikes have come through. Hopefully some bigger boys are moving as well. I have so much on there is no way o could shoot my bow today. I feel like I can't move! Good luck everyone!

Out this am 13. Degrees n lil breeze staying out till breakfast. Nephew got a 4 pt yesterday 2:38 pm went about 50 yards nice to have snow ez track. Have xbow with me today. Good luck all.

Had a big buck step out into my food plot. He was all alone just browsing and looking around. I guess I should have been in the turkey blind on the plot instead of the tree stand 50 yards back!

Just spooked 3 doe, moved my hand they saw that from 50 yards, like gun season jittery deer.

Beautiful day. Am actually thinking of braving the cold to sit a while and do some pre-gun observation . Cams have not shown much last few days.

I went to the oakflats stand in front of a bedding  area and food plot..thick slashing on my down hill side. Below open woods ridge and open woods behind..Thought something would cruise down or across hill  scent checking. Cam 100 yrds in front had 8 deer on it at one time and several buck the other night..cam in front of me had buck at 9:30 a.m. Nothing but 2 crow and I'm  getting cold!   Have extreme gear on but coat zipper  was broken...and I'm  using snsps..loosing heat.

Kicked up 6 on my way in, he was in the middle of an overgrown field, around 7.  They're moving!

No deer yet but a full murder of crows just woke up about 35 yards over my left shoulder.  And a tree just fell over. Interesting morning so far.

I shot a buck a little bit ago. He’s not big but he’s mine. I’m past being particular. Now I’m just chilling, literally. Swans are flying over they sound awesome. I’ve got to stay put, I put my friends son in a stand just a couple hundred yards away
