Whitetail hunting movie

Just saw this trailer.  Big name with Josh Brolin. Dunno how good a movie it will be but good to see someone unafraid to make a movie about hunting.

I think it is a Netflix exclusive movie. We don't have Netflix, but maybe it will come to cable at some point? I'd like to see it. Looks pretty good.

Might have to re-sign up for the Net Flix DVD subscription if they put it out in that format. Looks like it's going be a decent flick.

Just watched it.   It had some hilarious moments for sure, but was disappointed to see a particular incident near the end of the movie.  I was afraid that Hollywood would add something like that to a movie about hunting and of course they took the opportunity to do it.  I would still recommend watching it, because it does have some really funny parts.

I watched about a third of it last night.  It was ok and I may or may not watch the rest.  Steve said the ending is lame, so probably not.  From what I saw so far, I would not advise watching it with kids.

1st half of the movie was bad then it picked up. Some funny scenes, the kid had a great accent. Steve863 was right about that one scene. I would give it a 6.5. My 14 year old watched it with me she thought the same.

Any game taken in the flick or is more or less like "The Great Outdoors"? More comic relief then about the great outdoors.

No game taken - well one trailer for his show of a buck shot.  I didn’t really like it much.  Like Paula said, a couple of funny moments.

So more comic relief then actually hunting. Figures as much.

If it hits anywhere but just on Netflix i'll give it watch.

I am half way through the movie and it's kinda ho- hum . It was rather rediculous when he shot the turkey with the rifle at the beginning of the movie .

It was ok but nothing great.  B rated movie gets a B minus.
