Foggy drive this morning. Just a short drive, but saw a roadkill from last night. Cool, clear and dead still! I'm ready!!

Not out today but I’m seeing a lot of activity on my cams this morning. Should be even better as the wind lets up. Good luck to everyone that’s out.

Currently watching bunch of turkeys scratching in leaves at 40 yards. I can see 2 with longest beards I’ve ever seen.

The squirrels and chipmunks are up and about in 3g. Quiet other than that.

Saw 2 pockets of Doe on the way in along the parkway. Also saw a bruiser.. looked like a tall 8.. probably 12 g2's.. then nearly ran over a fawn.. all before I parked. Busted 2 groups on my mile walk in. Settled into stand by 630. At 7 I had a group of 3 Doe feeding on acorns to my right at 75 yds. Then the neighbor started his tractor and I watched 4 or 5 pockets of deer all along the field edge go on alert and run for cover. Maybe 15 deer total. Great morning to be out.

Full moon. Hunt at noon.

Had 3 beded around my stand this morning. 1 being a smaller buck. Just after sunrise a smaller buck at 50 yards. Acorns dropping like crazy and the squirrels and chipmunks wont shut up.

Saw two real nice bucks going at it 100 yds from the road on the way to work today. Busy highway just south of Ithaca, and they were oblivious to the traffic. 

Really going at it - very cool to see!

Had a doe and fawn feeding behind me at 50 yards. Winds blowing from them to me. This doe somehow picks me out through all the branches and blows and walks off. Im sitting down with maybe a shoulder and my head exposed to her. Crazy...she must die.

That would be a tough pass for me.  But he will be an absolute stud in one more season.

urrent situation. Watching 3 big doe in cut field with binoculars.  Just out of range on big hill 1.5 + miles away. Do I lob one in ?
