I went out this morning saw 7 deer in the first 2 hours all 75 to 100 yards out.  Off to work gonna go back out at 2:00

I think first snow of the year freaks a lot of them out.  Seems some folks are seeing deer but seems slow, doesn't it?  

Usually our first snow they seem like kids a little and I see some movement.

Oh well 4 hours in stand actually 45 minutes before that legal light in temps in 20’s I’m done for this sit!

Dad said he saw a 4pt dogging a doe from 7-730am both under 30yds but he passed. 4pt made a scrape. After they left he grunted per my suggestion and a bigger buck came in and he shot it at 810am. 5 or 6pt he thinks at 42yds. He gave it 2.5hrs so far I’m gonna get dressed and go meet him to track

I moved To the tower stand a while ago. Just had a couple of doe groups in the plot next to me and a spike came out and is creating chaos. Deer running everywhere lol.

Sat 4.5hrs and called it to warm up and recharge. Heading back out around midday cuz they weren't moving this morning.

Got my doe,i am not sure how. Look what she crawled into... I just about stepped on her. She only went 60 yds from hit site. I am getting good at finding deer with poor shot placement i wish i didn't have to. Better pics later...

Bucks were on the move this morning even with this wind. Had a beautiful wide 10 chasing a doe at about 8am. No shot as he wouldn’t stop. Originally wanted to do an all day sit today, but didn’t have it in me. I’ll be back out this afternoon.

Tapping out in 9A. Took the long walk back to the truck. Saw a few trails and hoofprints, but did not identify any scrapes or rubs. Odd year up year it seems. That the crop field next to me was fallow this year may have a bigger impact than I realized.

Good for you.  Sounds like things are heating up in 4F.  I can't wait to get up there for the last few days of bow and then the gun opener.

4 different bucks running does all around me. The big 8 chased one by at 25 yards. Couldn’t get him to stop.
