TACC
Dont invite your neighbors over to see your new full mount, it might be fido.Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk 2
Nomad
Not much of a coyote guy, and I was going with dog, then I googled black coyote, many have that same white chest patch , so now I’m going with , I have no idea . Shoot it and see if anyone puts up, “ lost dog “ flyers with its picture .
cynthiafu
Looks like a shepherd husky mix with the white chest spot
loworange88
Or perhaps you could check with some neighbors and ask if anyone has a black dog with a white chest......
moog5050
I would guess domestic too but no collar. Beautiful animal.
chrisw
Most coyotes all have the white chest Chevron. And the shape of the muzzle and the overall size I'm still going with coyote. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
Gencountyzeek
Seen a bunch of black coyote pics with the white patch. Get a pic after it went by? Wild dogs have straight tails, domesticated dogs have curved tails.
Deleted Account
Agree with most on here, looks like a dog to me, some kind of shepherd mix.
DirtTime
That's someones pet. Or used to be. It will make a great mount if you like a Sheppard mix in the trophy room.
Nomad
I’m leaning toward coyote , how many dogs today roam free, and then how many dogs have no collar and roam free ? That and the Black coyotes sure look a lot like that pic.
nyslowhand
I have no qualms about ruining a deer/turkey hunt by shooting a coyote! Would be just a little hesitant shooting one like in the photo fearing it might be someone's pet dog. Have to look it over really well and by then it'd probably be gone. Kool coloration! Rattler
Domestic dog, maybe running wild. Coy-dog at worst.
