This buck is the best I have seen so far . The doe and her fawns travel the area pretty regularly . One of the fawn pics was taken on a $20 Bresser camer and has the wrong date & time . Can't change it .7 points

Got the idea to build some ultra light weight bow hangers . For awhile ive been wanting to get a 3d printer ,from there i wanted to use it to mold custom carbon fiber . Part of the reason for this project was to start to learn about the bonding procedures for carbon fiber . For the first one i purchased the tube ends so i could see how much clearance they use from the aluminum to the tubing for epoxy . By doing so i learned the ends are also slotted to allow for thermal expansion and not fatigue the epoxy . A few pictures of the build and the total weight is at 5.3 ounces without the tree screw . I have tubing with half the wall thickness for the next batch , i will be making all the tube ends for that build ,i'm guessing the total weight on those will be 3.5 ounces finished.7 points

I never weigh fish, I use the chest girth method, my bass are routinely 5-7lbs. Haha sorry Wolc, I had to.... In all seriousness, we catch hundreds of Lake Ontario bass each spring at arguably the heaviest weights they will be (spring) and only a handful go over 5 lbs. LOTS of 4-4.5's. The scale doesn't lie. 7/25: got a lot done this morning. Dragged a tire to cut down high brush on walking trails. Replaced a ground blind, threw some throw and grow for summer pics, and checked cams. No spikes, no 3’s and no 8’s. So far we got the following on cam: Two 4’s Two 6’s One 7pt Some does and only 1 fawn I think. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro3 points

My bride took my sons and a friend out on the Viking yesterday while I worked. They killed it. No photos of fish but a full bucket of sea bass and porgies. Vacuum sealed and in the freezer. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk3 points

I’m jealous of you machinists. Not only are you generally creative enough to come up with ideas like this but you have the ability and knowledge to pull it off! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk3 points

Pulled out one of the bows yesterday evening. Here's my first that was either at 40 or 46 yards. Don't remember. Second pic is group at edge of yard from target. 46 yards. Definitely didn't mean for outer 12 ring. Dumb shit luck. Can't see rings that far out. I was just aiming for bottom 1/3 kill shot. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk3 points

Got my MB550’s today. There’s no comparison to the duke’s I got last year. These 550’s are solid tanks. I’m going to try a few set this year, but I’m really building up an arsenal for when I retire. I’ve always wanted to trap ever since I was a kid well I’m going for it in my old age. Should be a fun adventure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Some def beautiful smallies for you this year. I've caught a few, prob 10 -12 or less in my life, but a 5lb small mouth bass isn't all that common in NY. Although a lot of people think it looks 5 lbs the scale is always (exception PA chart) the tell. I can only think of two lakes I've ever got 5lb smallies out of. One small amazing lake up in the Watertown area (which is in my avatar and also not a 5lber) and Delta lake. But nothing fights like a small mouth bass.2 points

I don't know if this crosses over into the political thread or not, but here's our exalted King proving himself to be a bigger jerk day by freaking day! Chicken wings not food? Some very nice prospects out in the field behind the house tonight. 6-8 bucks stroll through every night. I turn off the tv and grab the spotting scope. That big ten point has me drooling. The 8 point biting his own ass is no slouch however. These pics are taken on my phone looking through the scope. Not easy to focus but you get the point. Ill update throughout the summer.1 point

Unfortunately no not yet, it's all ready to go, just haven't had the opportunity yet and when I do it's 90° so I've been waiting. It's very possible I will in the next few days, I need to at least make sure it functions as it should. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk1 point

Those two bass on a piece of driftwood would have awesome. But also expensive. Two 6lbers is a career day. In the fall on Delta I've got some huge bass when they start drawing down the lake. And a lake in Jefferson co one year on a fishing trip me and Corey had a career day. Multiple bass over 19" and some 21,22 inchers. There was one in the shallows I saw twice that I know was 7lbs. And could not get him to commit.1 point

I am no marine mechanic, but here are some items to check: Lack of or insufficient air venting for proper pressure? Unclean fuel filter? Stale gas....low octane? Damaged/worn/slightly blocked fuel pickup line inside the fuel tank? I say this because my chain saw had a slight crack in the fuel line inside the fuel tank so when I move the saw so the cracked line was no longer below the fuel it staled.1 point

Legalize all drugs. Remove the money from the criminals. Keep the government out of the drugs too. No taxes on drugs to enrich the government. Stop wasting tax dollars on a drug "war" that will never be won. Let them use drugs all they want and make them pay for their own rehab when they need it. At least if they die from drugs, they prove to be a fine example of people who cannot handle freedom and refused to accept responsibility for their self inflicted demise. Demands for gun control are nothing more than the government using a totally unrelated problem it created, to further their demands for more power over the masses. The government knows the above approach would stop all of these shootings, but that is not going to disarm all of the citizens.1 point

I didn't look through all the reply's but check out simmons broadheads. They fly excellent and you can get them in all kinds of weights. I currently shoot the tiger sharks at 175 grns with a 100 grn brass insert. These broadheads are devastating on game huge holes and good blood trails.1 point
