So went out to the land with Corey and we got a new stand up. 9ft on the field edge that we hope to plant this summer. Stand went up easy once we got it going. First stand we took out must've gotten water in it and.froze over the winter and it was split. So had to trade out for another. But it's in and looking forward to some hunts here. Also I got another stand in a spot and trail cleaned out but stopped cause the tree was covered in ivy and I'm just getting over it from last time. Fishing tomorrow! Well planted some of my garden today got half row of onions red and sweet. Half row of radishes. 2 rows of beets. 1 row Swiss chard. 1 row of baby lettuce. 2 rows of green beans. Was going to plant started plant but it's too windy don't want them to break. Some garlic came back and horseradish coming. I m late this year planting cause we were planning on selling house. Well found a dream home everything we wanted tried to put in contingent. But our realtor told us our place had to be sold and have a closing date. I don't want to be stuck selling my house and not finding the perfect house that has everything we want. So we'll see what happens. Plus putting in a garden will keep me busy. Plus closing on houses up here is 8 weeks. We have time.

WOW ! Forget about " Keeping Up With The Jones's " This place has turned into " Keeping Up With The Blackstones " LOL But I'm with Lawdwaz Cory And Biz . You are never going to convince me that Rib Eye , Porterhouse , Sirloin or Steak Tips , or even veggies taste better on a griddle . Im Weber Grill all the way on that one . But I do have to admit , cooking 10-12 pancakes or eggs at a time , bacon and home fries , and even recipes like TF's Shrimp and Rice look amazing .

Gov. Kathy Hochul and her Democrat leaders in the Legislature, announced a sweeping 10-bill package that again stomps on New York gun owners, while doing nothing to enhance public safety. This package includes legislation to further restrict magazines by eliminating grandfathering. They want to raise the age for purchasing a long gun and strengthen “red flag” laws. They have a “clearinghouse bill” so Draconian with its registration and record-keeping requirements that it will drive every dealer out of the state. Under their gun grab, they want to require a license to simply buy a semi-automatic firearm. This package is topped off with microstamping, a scheme which has not been successfully implemented in a single state and has nothing to do with any of the criminal acts they are purportedly trying to prevent. All of this is an indictment against the SAFE Act, and now they are doubling down on the same failure. They told you 9 years ago that their gun control would make the streets safe. It didn't, and now they are back with 10 more bills! While exploiting tragedy to pass their gun ban agenda, they have completely turned their backs on New Yorkers. They have left thriving cities to decay. Even more incredible, there is not one, single school safety bill in the mix. That is disgraceful! Please contact your state Senator and Assembly member today, and respectfully request that they oppose ALL gun control bills. The last scheduled session date is Thursday, June 2. They aim to ram this package through the legislative process and have it signed into law by the end of the week.

Congrats Cynthia and crappy. I know how that feels. Our youngest daughter is also graduating from high school this summer. I will miss going to her games (field hockey and Lacrosse). I am thankful that she is going to a fairly close college this fall. Hopefully, we will be able to catch some of her games there over the next (4) years. Two nights ago, we watched her team win the local wny section Lacrosse championship, so we get to watch at least one more high school game today (in Moog’s new home town I think). After that, it might be another game or two at the state championships. Her field hockey team made the final four last fall and now her Lacrosse team has a chance. Apparently, a diet rich in “free” protein (venison and fish) is good for athleticism. She’s on the far right, kneeling in the first row.

We, the American people, have enough oil and gas under our feet to supply our demand and also export our products for years to come. No matter your political opinion, we can all agree the gas prices we see now are upsetting. What everyone needs to understand is that the high gas prices are not because of some conflict overseas - prices were high well before that. The prices are not high because our American supply simply vanished. The prices are high because the people who run our country have decided to import oil from another country instead of using our very own American made product. Why? Using our own product creates lower prices, puts hard working American people to work with very good paying jobs and makes us as a country energy independent - Not dependent on another country to survive. We all saw that not long ago. Not only have the people in power decided to kill American jobs and create high prices, but they’ve also passed legislation to make it harder for an American oil and gas company to produce & transport our very own product. Why? Forget for one second who was President when our prices at the pump were low and our economy was booming and realize that that person was simply “For the people”. If you take away your dislike for DJT, you’ll admit that you miss those times and enjoyed them. Your 401K was higher, gas prices were lower and we were booming as a country. Now after a year of our current admin, you’ll realize that these people are “not for the people”. They are for themselves and their foreign business deals. The high gas prices should be enough for you to see that. The supply is still here, the hard-working Americans to produce it are still here. Having a booming economy is still possible. So no matter what you’re told by the news, realize that if we had people in power who were for us Americans, it could be as good it was before. Nothing has changed as far as oil and gas from 2016-2020 to the last year. It didn’t just dry up. It’s here, we are here to produce it. We can go back to lower prices at the pump. All we need is the people in power to want that. Lastly, since we all got to witness someone running our country for four years who truly wanted the best “for the people” as we can clearly see the “then & now” comparison as we speak. Remember every media outlet and political person wanted you to hate him, wanted to impeach him and did everything they could do to be against him. This year will be 29.. amd we need to take 23 deer its possible as nephews and friends kids have all started hubting adding 5 to 7 more hunters.. we average about 18 deer a year with 10 regular hunters and a few guests for a day or two. . Our best year was 2000 with 22 deer taken by 10 hunters ove all seasons.

Well the possiblity exists that the 500th deer will be taken off my property this year. So i decided to comission a commerative hunting knife for the occasion. It will be damascus with a rosewood burl handel modeled after (imo) the best hunting knife ive found but is no longer made.. a schrade ph2. Will be a few months before its made as he has a bunch of orders ahead.. ph2 examples if you have never had the blessing of seeing/ holding one or using one

he was banned once and just came back as someone else. He's a habitual liar and 90% or more of his content has nothing to do with hunting, yet we have no active owner or even mods so it continues. I wish more people would just stop responding and maybe he'd go away or at least decrease in posting. Lord knows there are 100's of other forums and spaces to vent and talk about these topics if one wanted to.
