Invest in some sort of a deer drag rope. I got one from cabelas for like $15 years ago and it makes a big difference!

Way to go!! You have not been draggin to long, not even an hour yet and you gutted it. It is not real bad until you hit 3 or 4 hours and that is the first and you need to go back and get the second one!! Now that is a drag!lol

Funny everyone wants to get a deer, I took someone out and helped him get his first deer, then I handed him the knife and said now the work begins lol, funny how I ended up doing all the work oh well congrats

Ps easier to drag them out by the horns, that's what the old timers would tell me lol
