That's the main branch, the whole enchilada. The East and West branches converge in Winthrop about 4 miles upstream.

 

The picture was taken in my back yard about 10 steps from my kitchen deck.

Walking on greased bowling balls is good practice for wading the St Regis above Ft Jackson.

This deer looked like a different species laying there compared to the 1.5s and 2.5s Im used to killing. It weighed 187. Looking back through this thread I see dozens of members we have lost, we need them all back!

141 (2013) and 139 (2017).. The buck in 2017 was a tank and probably 230-240 live weight.. Maybe 250 idk i didn't weigh him... My truck was 400 feet away and i still needed the tractor bucket

One of the best days of my life, I will never EVER forget.  My dad, and I both got deer with a few hours of each other, within 100 yards of each other, and yelling distance from my home. An indescribable feeling to both of us, that I am sure many of you can relate to. 175 lbs dressed Sullivan county

Thats a crazy rack for sure... more like a caribou rack than whitetail.

His back leg had a bunch of scar tissue. Figured he took a good hit from a vehicle at some point. Most likely contributed to the weird rack.

Ok. I’ll update mine as well. The buck on the right was taken in the last few days of gun season last year. My biggest with the gun. He’s a close second to my best buck on the left, taken with the bow.
