DirtTime
Well Mister...You and Grampy just earned yourselves a Pm to the owner of this site from Mr Rossi because you guys are picking on him and using bad language. Hope you can smooooth it over with John. lol Grampy had nothing to do with it. It was my personal statement. Name: John Burmiester Lives: In NYC Works in NYC Education: University of Delaware Current Job: EDI Manager at BH Photo Video What is BH Photo Video: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B%26H_Photo_Video What is EDI; Monitoring and controlling business data flow securely in real time. To compete and grow in the burgeoning universe of digital business, you’ll need to move data faster and more efficiently than ever before within your enterprise and trading community. EDI is a reliable way to exchange business documents quickly, but it doesn’t allow data exchange in the more open and mobile cloud environment that defines today’s digital business. Integration with APIs adds mobile capability, but also adds another data stream to manage. Instead, you need to bring EDI and API together into a single, all around integration system known as B2B 360°. In an API-enabled EDI platform, APIs are used to open the EDI environment and access B2B services via other applications, portals and mobile apps. You can monitor and control data between your partners and customers more securely and in real time. Paula
There will be stalkers always on here. People cry and quit the site because of it. Cry about and beg for the acct to be deleted and then beg to come back, so how bad can this site be. The funny part about is the the ones who cry are the one who are quick to join the bashing.
growalot
If that was directed at me,I did no bashing...I wrote a progression to how he got to where he appears to be. That progression was an insight not a bashing.

stoneam2006
Perhaps if Mike Rossi got his head out of his azz and actually READ some of my posts. He would see that in no way, am I an anti hunter. But Mr, Rossi's biggest problem is that he is so absorbed in his own fantasy world and himself. That he has no idea what a REAL HUNTER is! So I am not in this thread didn't read any of it but this pocahontas video makes my daughter freak out lol...Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

philoshop
Denigrating people for not immediately going 'all-in' for your cause is not a good way to garner support. I admire Mr Rossi's enthusiasm and passion, and I wish him the best of luck (and I hope he doesn't leave the site), but I don't like being talked down to simply because I don't share his particular passion(s).

Otto
I think I just bought my last item from B and H Photo. Also, I second the idea of a hunting dog section, excellent idea. Start with just as a general topic and add other sections for specialties if there is a lot of threads related to it.

I'd be curious to know just him many members even have a "hunting dog" and if it's even used for hunting. There doesn't seem to be much posted about bird hunting; maybe guys are chasing rabbits, coon, coyote and fox more than birds?

Four Season Whitetail's
Something I want to do someday is run dogs on yotes Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk Just like bunny's yet on a bigger scale. You post up and the dog's run the Yote out into the open across fields and such for an open shot. Running shots are the norm of course. When they first started here they would run out 2-3 yotes at a time and they would run together for awhile. Most times that happened the poster on the snow scooter would run them down and buckshot them. The numbers were so crazy back then a few years that it was just an all out removal plan however it took. Now when they run its more like rabbits where the dog has to work a big to scent up to start the chase. That thing about numbers coming back after you wipe them out just never came to be in these parts. Now sightings are few and far between. I don't see this site as a good spot for that, if you want hunting dog forums, seek them out. This site is more suited for Deer hunting lite post's. There are a ton of good dog hunting FB pages and at least a couple good gun dog forums.
Marion
I agree with a separate section for a hunting dog section. Admittedly I own two hunting dogs that I have never brought out to hunt. That said I do think it would be enjoyable to read more about the training/successful hunting stories and see the pictures. No big deal either way if we get that section or not. Maybe post some sort of poll for members to vote? That could be one of the best and most democratic ways of making changes if the site owner/mods felt the need to do so. Otto
I have a Brittany and hunt him at preserves and on my own land for grouse, plus an occasional trip to SD. I hunt with my dog almost as much as I hunt for deer. I agree most people on this site are interested in deer hunting, but I do enjoy reading about other types of hunting, even if I may never participate in it myself. I also like having one site for "all" my hunting that is local to NYS. I am not on Facebook. This site and a couple of others are my Facebook. It doesn't hurt to have a section for hunting dogs. If there is no participation, take it out.
Chris B
I would also enjoy a hunting dog section. I mainly grouse and woodcock hunt and do a little pheasant hunting with my shorthair. I'm a new gun dog owner and I like the idea of being able to chat with the seasoned guys. I'm also interested in what other kinds of hunting guys are doing with their dogs. IE: running coyotes.
