Forum Upgrade Feedback Thread - Please comment

Still working on all of the colors / themes etc, and there are a lot of background tasks still running for the upgrade.  Search might be slow / not working.  Images are being converted, etc etc... 

I like it so far, plus the site feels snappy.  Thoughts?

Please note there is no difference between your login name and display name with the upgrade.  You must login with your forum "display name".  If you don't know what it is just reset your password.

I just noticed there is no "go to first unread post" function, unless I'm just missing it.

It's a minor inconvenience, but I wanted to let you know.

I think there is. You just have to search for it a little bit. I'm pretty sure I found that on my iPhone.

I hope you will go back to your old way. I do not like at all your new way. It is very hard to read, not dark ink and do not like the way the subjects are listed.

Yesterday I quoted someone and then last night only wanted to reply to same post (do we like changes) when I clicked on box to reply it out my earlier quote in it.

I only use the forum on tapa a talk for the most part. I haven't noticed any difference. Seems to work well. Good job and thanks for taking the time to keep this place up and running.

I had the same issue using the milti quote. I made a post, used the multi quote in a new post, and my original post was gone.

 

We need to have more likes to other posts. This isn't a bug, but sure would be nice.

Pre-update, I would often click on my content to see activity on the threads I have been active on. I can't seem to figure out how to do that now. Ideas?

The other thing is I am now only getting certain messages through Tapatalk and they don't show up on the computer. I bounce back and forth so this is a PITA.

Just noticed, no "preview post button"  in the reply box.

I used to use that a LOT when copying multiple image codes and smileys to make sure I had it all right before submitting.

John, I like the way its coming along.  Thanks for all your hard work on this site.  I am sure whatever bugs you have left will be worked out and congrats on your anniversary.

One thing I will note is that I just tried to become a supporting member, but it would not allow me to pay by paypal.  Happy to contribute as soon as that is fixed.

I'm not a big fan of change, but the site looks nice!

I miss the "recent posts" functionality, but I think I'll get used to this layout just fine.
