Random spots walking strait at the target from 32-about 12 holding the same spot without slidingjng my pin one of those arrows has a broadheads shot that first at the farthest spot.  Elevated shots from my roof all under 25yards.

That target was a disappointment.  Only 2 years old and fell apart.  Granted I run a shoot at my house 2month leading until the season but my little 50dollar pig has done better.  The rump is holding up to it great.

I got a deal on it because it was a blemish model.  It may of held up better but a couple guys shot low last year with broadheads and slit the thin piece of the belly and this year it just fell apart.  I'll be purchasing a Rinehart next year if I can swing it.

First shot at 21 yards with a broadhead for the first time this year.

Made some adjustments to the sight and did this on the last 2 shots with the broadhead. Also at 21 yards.

I stepped back to 30 yards with field tips and shot this group and called it quits for the night.


I have some adjustments to make after talking with Tacs but not this year. Arrows are grouping nice but field tips and broadheads have a different impact spot on the target.

This shows why I feel it’s important to shoot from height ,particularly close shots , it shows how low the arrows come out the off side . Easy to, one lung ‘Em .

I would never shoot 50 yards at a deer but I practice out to 70. This year I finally tackled my TP and shooting long range is fun. It also points out one's faults pretty quick. EDIT --> my furthest bow shot and kill was 23yds, shortest around 8.

Blue Mountain was PACKED today! Never seen it like this. Brand new arrows and switching to a 3 (or 4?) finger release. Threw my anchor points off. Will need a lot of tuning or keep everything 30 yards or under.

@dbHunterNY - After flinging about 60 arrows, I found a comfortable anchor point and got the groups tighter.  its now down to the arrows.  I noticed when the guy cut my arrows, the nocks doesn't line up the vanes with the whisker biscuits exactly.
