I bailed, didn't see a bird. Had a drunk driver take out my mailbox before spinning out into my neighbors yd last night right after I got home from hunting, so I'm replacing that today weather permitting

Just bagged it myself for today. They we're moving early and then nadda. Wind was ridiculous. Once these 60 degree temps subside mid week, it should pick up or so I hope. Took half day Thursday and all day Friday to try and get it done.

Out till 11 or 10 not sure what time it was but I can tell you the deer had there clocks all screwed up. They all must be hung over!!!

Had a big 8 come in on a doe tail the doe came straight in to 20 I had a small window at 40 on the buck but he was coming on the does trail so figured I'd wait til he's at 20 or so with her. He peeled off and stayrd in thick cover. Dang

Hunted last night in pa 4 bucks 11 doe no chasing at all.

Just got home. Buck down! Shot him at 4:30. Saw him run out and stop after the shot. Found blood followed it for 50 yards, didn't like what I saw and pulled out to give him more time. Went back and found him! Went about 200 yards. This has been a very trying year for me. With some medical issues. My season will end on the 28th of this month. I was so happy to get this deer! Hunt like every deer could be your last. This is a trophy to me. 3 year old 4 point.

Great start. Get here and it's getting light, I'm getting dressed and hear two shots on our Creek. I hop on ATV and go down there, jump a monster 8 and see some scum running across the creek.

Jpastor, you hunt orange county you said? What town if you dont mind me asking?  I hunt near Middletown sometimes, and I was wondering if you see much chasing yet.  I saw a small 6 pushing a doe Thursday, but nothing crazy.

I hunt near Warwick and pine bush. My buddy had a buck chasing does last weekend in washingtonville. I had a buck last weekend I didn't see but heard in the field next to me I'm calling porky pig because of all the grunting he was doing sounded like he was doing 90 around the field as the location of the grunts kept moving.

Good luck Biz...and to your dad.  My dad and I hunt together a lot as well, I refuse to hunt with anyone else.

Jpastor- thanks foor the info, I appreciate it.  Sounds like a cool experience,  I have had a couple amazing encounters with bucks this week, but not necessarily with does. Just right place, right time. Good luck...
