BizCT
So of course I get back up in my tree and a fork comes out, he starts posturing about 70 yards away and out steps the biggest buck I’ve ever seen from a tree. Ten points I think (nine for sure)long tines and way outside his ears! The fork walked to him and they went up toward the road. Man I wish they went past the kid! I’ll be in here Saturday but I’m guessing he will have moved on. As they say, you can’t shoot a big one if you don’t pass a small one lol. I’m happy I got this deer and happy I saw that oneSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Nice 8!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
zeus1gdsm
All you wny guys make me wanna move out there.. your deer herd must be stellar compared to cny. I'm lucky to see 5 feet all season. And a lot of y'all see them in one sit.And it's not for lack of time I can tell ya that. I'm well over 100hrs hunting this year.Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
jpastor1759
Ok I’m getting frustrated. This is the 10 pointer I saw last Sunday at 4 pm (50 yards away, couldn’t reach him). He has been coming around every single night since then, but never during the day! Saw him again on the camera last night at 11 and 3 am. Is he completely nocturnal now?I'd say so, can you locate his bedding area and set up close to it so you can catch him in day light?Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk Get on the ground and stillhunt to different spots and stand there. I hate sitting somewhere for 7 hrs and see two small deer or none. You might not get shots and get busted, but you will see deer. I think I will really reverse the time i sit in stands and stillhunt. Stillhunting will be 75% from now on if the conditions are ok. Sitting in the stand is too boring and life is short.

Roggs2001
Shot an 8 pt Thursday AM, he came in range with the grunt tube. Thursday PM watched a six check every doe in the field and run two of them. Friday AM, no activity until about 9:00 - two different six pointers looking for does. Skipped the pm hunt. Back at it this am. One 6 and one 8 each looking for does, nose down no response with the grunt tube. Walked out to the vehicle for a short time and watched a six run a doe with fawns...A lot of good movement in 8T...Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
