Not a peep in my woods this morning. I have a feeling a visitor on the neighbors property might have gotten lucky since I was last out.

I just got permission to hunt this 40acres it’s all woods surrounded by fields I have heard 3 different birds gobble but they’re all in the fields I can’t hunt. I think I’m going to sit in the middle and attempt to be patient and see if one wants to come in the woods and play. Waiting on a turkey has never been my strong suit!

Suspicion confirmed. About 70 yards inside my woods. Right where turkey was Sunday morning I heard. Dirt bag trespasser!

When a dump truck hits a bump the tailgate slams. When I used to hunt along the 400 a dump truck tailgate slamming was a guaranteed shock gobble
