Moved my hand on stand to a new spot because I was actually set up on the neighbor's property or at least too close. Set up right near buck bedding I found. Wind in my face the whole way. Bumped some big bodies up wind of me. Then around 545ish a 2.5 or 3.5 year old came out into the corn stubble. Then a couple 1.5 year olds joined him for some light sparring. Didn't come closer than 100yds then got too dark. Snuck out without disturbing them. I saw a biiiiig body and tines just across the field but wouldn't come out of the tree line. Phone was dead earlier but I had a nice afternoon sit. Didn’t see any bucks but had a lot of does come out. Weather was beautiful and made for a nice relaxing sit.


On a side note. Anyone get the urge to call out a local guy on FB for killing a high fence deer and trying to play it off like it’s a fair chase kill? This dude is a local wanna be hot shot Mikey Waddell wanna be. I’m fighting the urge to embarrass the hell out of him.

Up ready to go brother called after his hunt yesterday and said the deer were pounding the corn on neighbors so they should come back through the property we are on.  Ive had a gut feeling all week about today hope it happends never killed a deer on my bday weekend.  Forgot

GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE YOUTH HUNTERS AND THE MENTORS!!!!!

56 deg 77% RH wind N at 8 gust to 15.
Not perfect but this is the morning I have. Can’t get em from the couch! Been raining on and off since Wednesday down here. Been seeing many doe in my neighborhood. Going to a spot I have a ridiculous amount of doe on cam. Hoping they come thru with some gentlemen escorts haha.

Still home slurping coffee debating if I’m going in after a near full moon last night. As stated in an earlier thread i hate hunting the morning after but i LOVE HUNTING even times where i may not have odd in my favor. I know i know..full moon hunt at noon. Daughter has a field hickey game at 1:00 in the vicinity of a prop i hunt. Maybe i take my time and give it from 9-12...8-12....oh hell im going now!

Live from three glass tower stand I had 3 adult doe at 38-45 yrds 15 min ago. Hooefully doezilla shows up.  I'm sure going to love the tower on days like today. With 3 windows open at 2' wide each I can still hear the deer coming and i get to relax with my boots off lol.
