What is the one thing you would not go into the woods without?

The title says it all, for me it's my Camillus Marine Combat Knife. That thing is as tough as it comes, very similar to the Kabar but a little longer and the blade is a little wider. I've used it to cut down saplings, skin deer, dig holes, there's no job it won't do. I don't feel prepared in the woods without it.

So what is the one thing you won't go out without?

This is a very general question, I go into the woods daily behind my house. For me, clothing and shoes are my two most important items.

I have a backpack with my tag, compass, first aid kit, flashlight, paracord, and a knife in one of the compartments. Items in this compartment are never removed so everytime I go out, I alway bring this pack.
