My brother in laws buck. Its the buck i shot at yesterday that started the debacle with my bow. So happy it worked out this way, been wanting him to get a good buck for years.

I have the worst luck! I’ve been watching this 7-pointer come around every morning for the past few days. First it was 3:30, then 4:39, then this morning at 5:30. However, this morning I decided to post up at the bedding area about 200 yards away. Never saw him. Turns out he came by to the mock scrape I set up, at the same time I was climbing my tree 200 yards away!

I just made my move to the woods.  It feels at least 5 degrees cooler here.  I have been thinning out the big ash trees on this end of the woods for several years and there is quite a bit of underbrush filling in, that is still holding leaves.  Hopefully, some deer will move in here to cool off as the sun gets higher.
