Marion
Big doe down and me with a heart attack. I'm too out of shape for this shit. Now back and showered. Shot looks high because I was probably 25-30 feet up in my stand so high angle. She didn't go more than 30 yards behind me. Saw a beautiful spray and heard the nice pop when I shot her. Full passthrough ran lightning speed then massive crash and one final death cough and I am finally back in action. It feels incredible to finally have redemption after last seasons debacle. And now drinking a delicious sour beer in celebration! There's also a gigantic 8 I was watching earlier. I know where be lives now and plan on killing him next if luck is on my side!#ThankYouForLessOverzealousModding #WeDemandUnlimitedLikes#WeDemandADislikeButton

Marion
Way to go Jerkman!! No skunk for you. I will never forget this redemption doe. She gave her life so I could shake off the bad juju from last season. Moho81
I ended up having 2 doe come by around 4 then Had a fawn come by at 20 yards. A while later another doe came by but no shot offered. Just after 6 a beautiful 8 came to within 40 yards. He ended up busting me after a 15 min standoff. It was a great evening hunt. I was able to get into shooting position on three attempts without getting busted until that buck won after 15 min. Marion
Sweet Redemption! Congratulations my man! Thanks! I really was hoping the giant buck I was admiring from his bed would swing by but no such luck. Though I'm ecstatic to have the opportunity to take this doe. And more importantly a nice clean kill. That's what's most important to me. Big buck would be sweet but a bad shot or prolonged death not what I want. This one was pop mist mad sprint in a circle huge crash giant cough. Marion
Congrats jerk, nice plump doe!!!!!!Thanks! And big thanks to@crappyice for helping me track the big deer I lost last season. Had he not helped me track that deer I never would have ventured to the area I did (I was not a fan of deep woods. Don't like weird noises in the dark) needless to say set up on one of the trails we found and thank God made it happen! Feels good to finally redeem myself after an abysmal Last season! Hopefully many many more to be deflated as the season goes on#ThankYouForLessOverzealousModding #WeDemandUnlimitedLikes#WeDemandADislikeButton

Swamp_bucks
First congrats to all that took a deer today. Morning hunt was a bust spooked something very big going in. Weather man got the forecast wrong so I got wet. This is one piece of private I hunt so I asked the owners where they've been seeing them. So I setup for the PM hunt. PM hunt. Didn't have any action untill 520. When I had a doe clear a 15 acre meadow in 2 seconds not sure what spooked her. About 10 minutes later I had a fawn come in and feed for 10 mins. About 6 I had another doe work through the only thing that saved her was a branch. She ended up feeding out into the meadow. Then 630 came and I could here deer working their way towards me. When all of a sudden I catch a blob of white in the brush. All I could think was that piebald buck. After 5 mins of trying to see if it was him I see deer walking towards me from his spot out steps a basket 4 that I chose to pass and a doe. Well right behind them at 30 yards was that little piebald buck. I was so busy watching him that the doe and 4 point caught me moving. It was well worth possibly missing my chance at a deer just to be able to see that buck. If he comes in again with that doe she won't get lucky next time. Be back out in am Edited October 4, 2020 by Swamp_bucks

corydd7
Finally made it to my cabin an hour ago. Wood stove is going and I checked two of five cameras. Hope one of these two show up for my dad tomorrow, it's probably his only day to hunt all year. Congrats to all the early hunters who have found success.
