Well just got off the phone with my mother. One of our close family friends and a reason i chose to follow nursing passed away from covid yesterday and her husband is still in critical condition.  

Now I need the woods time more than ever.  Going to be even more important to enjoy that time tomorrow.  She always wanted to hear about how my season and the deer we took busting my chops whenever I missed one at her farm. She will deeply missed.

Tomorrow will be more of a reflection and time I had with her a tear will be shed on stand I'm sure.  Still going to hunt hard because she will haunt my ass if I stay sad and don't get out there.

Time to get the gear ready for tomorrow. Good luck to all those going out tomorrow.
