Just a quick update on my daughter. Saturday was a really tough day, she was a little furnace and really felt terrible. Yesterday her fever broke and she actually ate something. This morning she woke up bright and cheery and ready to play. You can tell she's not back to 100%, I'm sure being sick took a lot out of her, but she's getting there. I'm glad it didn't turn out to be anything major, and I appreciate the well wishes from forum members. Thank you!26 points

I have to say I've had to pleasure of meeting left field on 3 separate occasions. Neither of those times have he tried to confiscate my guns or tried to have me get an abortion.8 points

Pleasure was mine. It’s all good ... people blowing off steam during a stressful time. Myself included. Sorry about that. I was distracted with marveling at bionic’s hand and that girl who came over to ask who the the hell we all were. Next time, I’ll be sure to lift a few wallets and buy for all.5 points

Two of three peach trees are in full bloom right now. Third is on its way. This is early and last time this happened, I lost all fruit. Cherry tree is fat and ready. Apples not showing any color but swelling. I hear daffodils are out but I don’t have any to verify.3 points

Doctors wanted to discharge her Friday. Assisted living would not take back being a positive patient. We opted to keep her in the hospital in islolation. Unfortunately her lungs are getting worse and is on oxygen. doctors cant explain it. Nobody has seen her in almost 25 days now. It's breaking her little heart and all of ours. We got her an Ipad that the aid is helping her with so we can see each other when calling. Prayers needed please!3 points

I do. Freeze and store. Got lots of apples and peaches frozen. Mrs bundy makes apple rolls. Put cored apples in vitamix or equivalent. Grind to a mush. Add honey from your bees. Mix up. Put wax paper down on your jerky dehydrator trays. Pour on mixture, level and dehydrate per your machines instructions. I’ve got a ton of this stuff. Can use apple pear peach whatever you have. Makes great stand or blind snacks.3 points

I actually like the way Grampy says it better: anchor... float the pin... release. I think the longer you hold the more chance of hesitation which is really what target panic is. Jeremy try this: Deep Breath - Draw back and anchor... float the pin onto the target... Release.3 points

Venison stew....them white cubes are turnips and make for an amazing addition instead of potatoes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk3 points

As my shoulders got worse, I learned to just anchor... float the pin... release. As I can't hold full draw very long. It's worked OK for me.3 points

· .. . Johns Hopkins University has sent this detailed note on avoiding the contagion: * The virus is not a living organism, but a protein molecule (RNA) covered by a protective layer of lipid (fat), which, when absorbed by the cells of the ocular, nasal or buccal mucosa, changes their genetic code. (mutation) and convert them into aggressor and multiplier cells. * Since the virus is not a living organism but a protein molecule, it is not killed, but decays on its own. The disintegration time depends on the temperature, humidity and type of material where it lies. * The virus is very fragile; the only thing that protects it is a thin outer layer of fat. That is why any soap or detergent is the best remedy, because the foam CUTS the FAT (that is why you have to rub so much: for 20 seconds or more, to make a lot of foam). By dissolving the fat layer, the protein molecule disperses and breaks down on its own. * HEAT melts fat; this is why it is so good to use water above 25 degrees Celsius for washing hands, clothes and everything. In addition, hot water makes more foam and that makes it even more useful. * Alcohol or any mixture with alcohol over 65% DISSOLVES ANY FAT, especially the external lipid layer of the virus. * Any mix with 1 part bleach and 5 parts water directly dissolves the protein, breaks it down from the inside. * Oxygenated water helps long after soap, alcohol and chlorine, because peroxide dissolves the virus protein, but you have to use it pure and it hurts your skin. * NO BACTERICIDE SERVES. The virus is not a living organism like bacteria; they cannot kill what is not alive with anthobiotics, but quickly disintegrate its structure with everything said. * NEVER shake used or unused clothing, sheets or cloth. While it is glued to a porous surface, it is very inert and disintegrates only between 3 hours (fabric and porous), 4 hours (copper, because it is naturally antiseptic; and wood, because it removes all the moisture and does not let it peel off and disintegrates). ), 24 hours (cardboard), 42 hours (metal) and 72 hours (plastic). But if you shake it or use a feather duster, the virus molecules float in the air for up to 3 hours, and can lodge in your nose. * The virus molecules remain very stable in external cold, or artificial as air conditioners in houses and cars. They also need moisture to stay stable, and especially darkness. Therefore, dehumidified, dry, warm and bright environments will degrade it faster. * UV LIGHT on any object that may contain it breaks down the virus protein. For example, to disinfect and reuse a mask is perfect. Be careful, it also breaks down collagen (which is protein) in the skin, eventually causing wrinkles and skin cancer. * The virus CANNOT go through healthy skin. * Vinegar is NOT useful because it does not break down the protective layer of fat. * NO SPIRITS, NOR VODKA, serve. The strongest vodka is 40% alcohol, and you need 65%. * LISTERINE IF IT SERVES! It is 65% alcohol. * The more confined the space, the more concentration of the virus there can be. The more open or naturally ventilated, the less. * This is super said, but you have to wash your hands before and after touching mucosa, food, locks, knobs, switches, remote control, cell phone, watches, computers, desks, TV, etc. And when using the bathroom. * You have to HUMIDIFY HANDS DRY from so much washing them, because the molecules can hide in the micro cracks. The thicker the moisturizer, the better. * Also keep your NAILS SHORT so that the virus does not hide there2 points

Not that it matters but the season ended Sunday 3/29. The current hardcopy ( page54) indicates 3/29 and the DEC website shows 3/29.2 points

In this day & age, lump sum is going to be tough to make work. Low interest rates will have you going backwards PDQ.........Years ago, lump sum could certainly work (and I know a few that took it) for people but the "sure thing" of a monthly pension check from .gov is a no-brainer for most today, depending on the size of the lump.2 points

Pension is great if you live for a long time. Once you die, the pension dies with you. If you take the lump sum, you can invest it, grow it, and have something to leave behind.2 points

This is what's more typical. Most of the wild game meat shops you see are from the poorer regions/neighborhoods. It does happen but it's like grabbing a hillbilly from the Ozarks cooking up possums and raccoons and saying that's America as a whole.2 points

The q-tip has to hit the back of your sinus cavity where your sinus meets your throat. Most people say it stinks for hours afterwards. That's some Ramdo patching himself up kind of shit. Takes some navigating. I'd rather have a pro do it. Knowing me, I'd stick the q-tip up and it'll come out of my ear.2 points

You don't drill and tap for a ghost ring, you replace the existing rear barrel sight. I wouldn't drill it either, that just lends to more/different options IF it was already done. Weaver rail, wtf, on a period gun? Theres like 50 better options anyway that'd look better.2 points

On the lighter side , due to the stay at home and avoid close contact with others , I spent about 4 hours this afternoon cleaning the garage . I threw out a lot on non essential crap and made a couple piles of items to give my kids . Got a lot accomplished . Watched the Livestream Mass by Bishop Mitano at 11 am since we can't go to church . Didn't watch the NEWS all day !2 points

I hear RedRyder BB guns are a fun way to protect your plants from little critters. I would go with a watermelon or cantaloupe or squash type thing that grows on vines. Sounds like your space isn’t prepped so this would be the easiest to prep. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point
