Yesterday’s forecast was rain on and off for a few days…now no rain in the forecast. Maybe it will rain if I wash my Jeep or plan a picnic! I needed 200 gallons of water to moisten my food plot. I hope the deer will appreciate all my hard work!!6 points

Please Share ---- I was sitting at a long stoplight yesterday, minding my own business, patiently waiting for it to turn green even though there was no on-coming traffic. A carload of scruffy-bearded, young men shouting Anti-American slogans with a half-burned American Flag duct-taped on the trunk of their car and a "Remember George Floyd" slogan spray painted on the side was stopped next to me. Suddenly they yelled, "Defund the police." and took off before the light changed. Out of nowhere an 18-wheeler came speeding through the intersection and ran directly over their car, crushing it completely and killing everyone in it. For several minutes I sat in my car thinking to myself, "Man... that coulda been me!" So today, bright and early, I went out and got a job as a truck driver.5 points

Lol. Nice cherry picking there. In 2008 oil spiked to $145 a barrel in summer for a very short time due to issues in the middle east and Venezuela. But let's pull out some numbers in 2008. In Dec oil was down to $32. 2022 the lowest has been in the $70s for a short time. Gotta look at this with perspective. The dollar is worth less due to inflation caused by the US printing money that it doesn't have. Which has been the policy of this white house. Prices of everything are higher which also cause oil to be higher since US workers still have to handle, refine, haul the fuel etc. Are the companies still making money? Of course. It's a free market - would you like otherwise? But did they suddenly get greedy just this year? Um no. They've always been about profit first. Add in all the fuel taxes that have been added since 2008 as well esp NY. Then limit the amount of fuel produced in the US by this administration and there ya go. And the fact Biden is spending the oil reserves as fast as he can is just kicking this can farther down the road. Do you recall Trump restocking the oil reserves when it went down to $35 a barrel? Awesome move, and Biden is even screwing that up. Oh and if your trying to remind me that Obama sucked too you don't have to I remember. Also there was a bit of an economic issue in 2008 if you remember. Hmm economy an fuel price issues under Obama and Biden. Almost shocking isn't it. Lol. You can't shovel enough sod over this shit show Biden has put on. Give the guy credit where it's due he's earned it. And if your argument for this is referring back to 2008 when Biden was vice president and oil was high to show how it's not his fault while he is now President is about as thin as it gets. I read some of your posts and thought middle of the road and then I read this and think you were run over on that road. Please don't tarnish the conservative name by claiming your one. Handed a complete disaster of a situation ? Come on Man ! Cheney ? This is from her website ; Liz Cheney serves as Wyoming’s lone member of Congress in the U.S. House of Representatives. She was first elected in 2016 on a platform of restoring America’s strength and power in the world, and pursuing conservative solutions to create jobs, cut taxes and regulation, and expand America’s energy, mining and agriculture industries. Cheney sits on the House Armed Services Committee and also serves as the Vice Chair for the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol. She ran for office promising what is underlined and didn't do one thing for the residents of Wyoming in any of those fields while representing them. Then there's this; https://www.nytimes.com/2022/06/23/us/politics/liz-cheney-wyoming-democrats.html She thinks that being on the Jan 6th committee is going to save her, which only puts her sanity into question, as she represents a state that voted over 70% for Trump. Her ship is sailing away, but maybe they'll save a spot for Liz on the CNN life boat.4 points

Treehouse is just about done. Kids are loving it, and we just need to add some furniture and decorations to the inside. My daughter keeps talking about hunting out of it with me... so before the season starts I need to cut a few shooting lanes, and put up some camo burlap on the open sides. She also wants to do a sleepover up there, so guess ill be researching mosquito netting options soon.3 points

Well I wanted to post updates along the way but its just been to damn busy! Season is going well for Ben. Team has been struggling a bit for a bunch of reasons. We have been all over with tournaments. This week we’re heading to Lake Placid for a wood bat tourney. Then next Thursday starts a PBR tournament in Toledo OH. Son tried out for the PBR Jr Futures games in Cortland last week. If selected he would go to LakePoint in Georgia at the end of the month. He ended up doing extremely well and was picked! He played 2 simulated games. First game the opposing pitched was throwing 79/80 fb, kid struck out the first 5 batters, I was anxiously watching Ben the 6th batter as he loves fast pitchers. Anyways he hits oppo shot down the right field line for a triple! Big sigh of relief knowing ur kid did well in that spot. Next at bat was a ground out. 3rd at bat was another triple right center one hop to the fence. Now I'm feeling like he did well enough for an invite. 2nd game: first at bat was another right center field triple, next a check swing hit to 2nd baseman, last at bat was another right center field triple. It was a wild day watching him do so well. Went 4-6 all triples. He was pumped afterwards, I’ll never forget that day no doubt! So after Ohio we head to Georgia for the week as he represents team NY.3 points

It all gets real simple for me: Trump- Energy independence, a stable border, excellent economy, my retirement funds growing like crazy, none of this out-of-control woke nonsense coming from the presidency.........Life was good! Biden and his merry band of Democrats- disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, wide open border that is now controlled by the drug cartels, crime at ridiculous levels and climbing, inflation with recession a certainty, all time record prices of gas and we haven't even seen what will be happening to fuel oil yet with these ridiculous energy policies. My retirement funds are taking a huge hit with no relief in sight. Oh, and in case people want to give all Dems other than Biden a pass, Remember that Pelosi and her merry band of Democrats have voted for all of these irresponsible spending bill through both houses. I'll take Trump and common sense policies any day over the crazy Democrats that pass all kinds of crazy screwed up spending bills.3 points

If you are defending Biden on this gas issue, you really need to evaluate your analytical thinking process. You hitched your wagon to a total loser. Just admit it to yourself and stop trying to justify your clueless vote.2 points

I would love to see that list of things he has done good that you agree with? Trump stood on that stage and told Americans just what they would get if that democrat got into office. And we saw every single word and then some come to be fact. It would take a complete fool to vote in anything democratic anywhere on any stage. Like the idiot we have in Albany that replaced the idiot in Albany. There is one democrat in West Virginia that would be even considered to be voted for for any position in politics. The rest have proven themselves useless every time they hit the big stage and a Republican has to come in and get the country and it’s people back in order. Just like the bullshit BLM. Where are they now that a democrat is in? When crap is being paid for and supported by a side it’s pretty easy to see after the smoke clears2 points

Thank, God, he wasn't voted into office. I'm on record saying that Biden is way too old for the office and that he will be a one-term president. Done some things I like, some things I don't. I appreciate that he was handed a complete disaster of a situation. I'm just riding him out. If the reps take the house, I expect the whole thing to just grind to a halt or blow up. Maybe not a bad thing. The current two-party system is a mess and I see no way through it. A viable third party will only come about if one side implodes - Trump vs Desantis could do it - but that would take years. In the interim, I would install term limits for congress and the Supreme Court, consider limiting the power of the president (too much power for one person), and setting up an panel of former presidents to act as an advisors to the current president. Pretty tired of this treadmill of the new guy undoing the work of the last guy only to have his decisions undone by the next guy. I would also suggest that cabinet members be chosen from an equal mix of both sides of the aisle. It's all fun and games to watch the parties chew each other up until you realize that these ass clowns are doing so at our expense. Cheney is interesting. As I said, she's far more conservative than your stud-muffin, Donny Two Scoops, with bigger balls. Not sure why you don't like her. Is it because she isn't a Trump lickspittle like the rest?2 points

Wheat fields should start to get cut this week. Bought 6 cases of shells for starters and added 2 more bouncer dekes for the spread. This years decoy spread will consist of 4 mojo spinners, 2 Lucky Duck spinners, 4 bouncers, 12 full size hard bodies, 2 dozen Dive Bomb silhouettes, 12 socks and a carousel. Will not use them all every shoot but have the variety for once the have been shot over a couple times. Our goal is 2,000 birds this year. Much will depend on how long the wheat stubble remains before the overseed fills it in.1 point

Those 2 bucks from last month are getting big quick. Pictures aren’t the greatest but the smaller 1 is a 7 I had a close encounter with last year. I know his swamp is 1 mile down the road and I’m guessing the other one is in the swamp near where he’s living now. Was a 3rd buck about the same size as those 2 just couldn’t get a picture.1 point

Well little league season is over. Kids played in heat today to a tie with other team. Parents made final decision it was time to go. Brantley went 3-4 all singles and 3 rbis on day couple good defensive plays. After game he thanked his coaches for the great season. His head coach told him he would not be on that team next year cuz he expects Brantley to move up next year if we're still here. He said Brantley was a late add on to the team which benifited there team. He also said Brantley lead off the batting order with a hit or a walk in every game. He had nothing but great things to say and they both coaches great while season. There team also got to meet the old timer who sponsored the team and gifted the kids there hats and jerseys plus a pint of maple syrup. Uncle Jack's sugar shack! Now to focus on town ball. He'll get a break while we vacation 28 june-july 8 in st Simons island.1 point
