Well it looks like as of right now we will be going to pa for a 4 day bow hunt. Right now we have 5 guys planning on going. We will be hunting state game lands 175 and 35 which is located near Hallstead which is just over the border. Dates we are looking at are 6-10, 13-17th of October I would like to go later but most of us have kids birthdays at the end of the month and early november. We wanted a cheap trip and there is a campsite nearby with camper parking,cabins and tent sites for cheap. So I think we can do it for around $200-300, 100 being just for the tags. Since it's only 1.5hrs away we plan on making a saturday or a couple saturdays to go put boots on the ground. I have been doing some scouting using huntstand to find transition areas,saddles,water,ect. Nice thing is being so close it wont be the end of the world to go down another time for a day hunt or 2. I'll be posting on this as we put plans, scouting or anything else for the trip together. This will be all of our first time hunting put of state. To harvest a deer would be great but to go hang out with a bunch of close friends and relax and bs will be good enough.

I made about 56# of sausage today,six different kinds. This was the first year i did it by myself in my own kitchen. I have to say i like doing it that way. Last year i did it with friends,pre covid and it was fun but i like being able to control the whole process. I bought better ingredients and tried some new recipes. The new apple recipe is great. I cant wait to try the bratwurst and chorizo. I hope to be able to share some of the sausage with friends and family this summer.

All are made from scratch. I really like controlling what goes into it. I bought a pork butt from a local farmer that just butchered some pigs,it was never frozen. A big reason why i hunt and butcher my own deer is quality control and being involved in the process. And usually i get enough meat for the whole year and some to share.

That having been said, the organizers/owners of these sporting forums need to protect their players, and with new issues must come new rules (unfortunate, but true). So yeah, I agree with many on here that say we need to restrict participation. The welfare of many comes before the rights of a few, when there's documentable harm involved.

Why does it matter if Coke only promoted the online training or made the presentation themselves as a part of their policy? This is what I don't understand and it frustrates me to no end. I'm not saying this is how you are saying it but it sure seems like the vast majority of people on the left feel this way. If the online training was "Be less black" it would be complete outrage and rightfully so but because it's "Be less white" it's no big deal. I give up.

i've done a few this way too. sold earlier than I should have but was happy with the gains. It's impossible to predict everything, but there is some good dd behind most of it. except gamestop right? I'm told it's going to 1000.

We're in the same boat. I've had some mixes that are good but we prefer to do our own. We've done bologna summer sausage couple different kinds of snack sticks 4 flavors of hotdogs pepperoni Italian sausage smoked jalapeno sausage then a host of jerkies

Used to do a fishing trip with 6 guys every year for like 20 years. And they were some great times. But like others said life got in the way. Kids, sports, jobs, living in other states etc. But they sure were fun. The older we got the less booze we took with us. Lol. But fish all day, shore lunches, big meal, some drinks and playing cards and BSing. Good times. Have fun.

Actually wasn’t a bad day . Hopefully next week we get some more back .

You guys are killing it! Is there a word that's the opposite of offended? If so, that's what I am. Thick-skinned, maybe? That's what I tell all my trainees is the #1 attribute needed to be a successful researcher. When you put your work out into the world, you got to expect the world is going to chew it up, spit it out, and crap on your dreams lol. But hopefully at the end of the day, year, millennium, you've contributed something useful to society. Maybe answered an important question, like "tubes versus cages?" "to pee from the stand or not?" "what's the best cartridge for deer?"

Seasonal road , access issues is it actually a road or row? Around here that price is high ,but it all depends where it is what timber looks like if mature you maybe able to recoup a large.portion of what you spend.

yeah i don't have a great read on it. On one had I don't disagree with what you're saying. The side effects are the same as any other vaccine. Had my second shingles shot last week. Felt like crap with arm pain, slight fever, shivering, headache all night long. Did not sleep well. None of this is unique to the COVID vaccine and tells you it is doing it's job. When I got up in the morning, told my wife that I am definitely never getting shingles. That vaccine worked! When I'm eligible to get the vaccine, I'll gladly take a short burst of immune cytokines and the effects they produce (symptoms above) to have the peace of mind of not being hospitalized or die from COVID. And, I'll take whatever is available. Everything with EUA (Pfizer, JNJ and Moderna) is remarkably effective as far as vaccines go.
