  6. I received the Browning RIDGELINE in yesterday. Also told I should be getting in some ATT Reveal X in near future. Ridgeline is dual carrier so I like the simplicity of that for sales and buying purposes. Just one cam to hunt down. Reveal X is doing well. Been messing with a lot of solar on it since I’ll be setting up cams for the long haul here in the next few weeks. Aim is to set them in a few states and not touch them again until I pull post season.

  10. We have one and I love it. Power goes out and the generator kicks in 30 seconds later. My wife works from home so if the power goes out and she's home I guarantee no matter how many times I would have showed her she could never get a portable generator out of the garage and hooked up to the house and started. Basically if you can afford it and your not moving anytime soon it's worth it.

  11. Those are more rubber grips. Mine treatments offer an increase in grip. I am going to have a video explaining and showing with hard data the decreased muzzle flip after the shot, and overall increase in control my work provides. https://www.instagram.com/thejerkman #JerkmanCustoms #WeDemandUnlimitedLikes

  13. Well the Wife an I decided to have installed a whole house Generator - Kohler . Apparently Generacs are a one year wait due to a shortage , or at least thats what we're are being told . We decided to buy the propane tank - a 500 Horizontal one . We will be installing another Generator for the Garage due to the Apartment above the Garage and they will run lines to each generator . When we (finally) go on vacation we do not want to worry about the house - basement flooding , boiler out , well/no water for the Tenant ! Thought's ?

  14. After looking at the box call I bought, I thought to myself "How hard can it be to glue some wood together and make a striker/top?". So early last May I gave it a try. It actually wasn't that hard. Some red oak and a about an hour to cut, glue, and shape the top. Then I sanded the round for the top and rounded out the sides for aesthetics. I used an aluminum screw to secure it together which ended up snapping and the top came out a little short, but did have an OK sound to it. I have to round down the inner wall tops a bit, and make a new top at some point. I never got to finish the modifications as I was on new puppy duty most of May. I did get to use the pot strikers I made the few times I got out. A combination of red oak and poplar to make these 4. Anyone who's made a box call have any advice?

  26. My thoughts on this and we install them is if money is no option it’s a good idea. If someone is real elderly or say sick parents and you want to install at their house another great idea. Power doesn’t typically go out any length of time. Chances of it happening long term while on vacation are slim actually. It won’t really add to home resale value either imo. Portable generators can be taken with you. Are pretty minimal investment. Take not more than an hour or two to install the inlet box and interlock and will run the whole house if you manage energy properly and probably even if you don’t. If you go camping, tailgating somewhere you could bring that generator as well. Also say your daughters house went out and she didn’t have one. Easy enough to temporarily back feed her. Must be done properly and safely but in emergencies we do it all the time. In fact we’ve got a whole trailer full in our shop. As stated I install them, not for myself but in my house I put in a portable unit. It was better for me. Better option imo under most circumstances. Big investment for minimal return.

  27. When it comes to gun control the Democrat's backdoor roadmap to get around second amendment fights is as plain as the nose on your face. Taxes, fees, permits, traditional lead based ammo bans etc. All this hoop jumping is put into place to make owning a firearm so cumbersome it eliminates many even bothering, IE the NY State pistol permit system. Does not effect the criminal element one bit, the honest folks that want a firearm to hunt, shoot or protect themselves are the ones that take it up the butt! Al

  38. 100% Common Northern Water Snake. The milk snake will have a checkered belly. As said above, they're harmless, and non venomous. But can be quite feisty when handled. I'm more afraid of being twenty feet up in a hang on stand than any snake. Oh....forgot to mention big ugly spiders! They make me squeel like a school girl!.....hehehe
