  6. He's trying to say the Democratic party is for the Minority's and the GOP is for the white bread Mofo's. You know Dems politicians say things like ; "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man." “I tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.” He actually said that to a Black man. “I loved being called the first Black president,” Bill Clinton revealed during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” this week. “But, Barack Obama really is, he deserves it.” Not to mention their ties to the KKK and other Anti civil right groups, but why look at history ? Lets just take the way they stand up for their brothers and sisters of color by letting them slaughter themselves by the tens of thousands in their federally and state funded plantations known as "Ghettos" or "Projects" in every Major Democratic run state. That's a Love the minorities can do without, but since the Dems have bought their souls and votes, their stuck dealing with the Devil, because the Devil tells them so. Same as the illegals they let in the country. Bought and paid for. Welcome to America, Vote early and often.

  7. My buddy and his friend have a hunting camp in the Adirondacks; they've noticed a "skunk" smell recently at the camp and knew there are few skunks in the area. They have several trail cameras out. Upon checking their cameras they found one with the batteries on the ground, pointed up, and the SIM card missing. They removed it from the tree and in a plastic bag behind the camera was $ 35.00.... They believe there must have been an marijuana grow in the area and the "suspect" had his photo on the camera and only took the documented pics and left the cash to cover the SIM card and batteries...

  12. Forget "knockdown power." To knock down an animal you need massive tissue damage, or a disruption of the CNS or skeletal system. I've seen deer shot with a ton of different rifle calibers and they don't knock them straight over without a CNS or skeletal hit. There are a million variables though, if you shoot a 60lb fawn with a high energy/velocity round it may drop instantly with a lung hit, it may not. My buddy used to use a 300 WM and his deer went as far as my 25 caliber. Deer are easy to kill, no need to shoot a cannon. I never aim to drop them instantly, too much meat damage for me. Pop them in the lungs with a 120gr 25 caliber projectile and walk the 30-50 yds to them. I see no point in getting a ridiculous amount of energy just to dump it into a tree or the dirt behind the deer after it passes through. My .02. Sent from my moto g fast using Tapatalk

  15. When I first started hunting deer we were fortunate that one of the guys we hunted with(an old German) had a brother that worked at the Buffalo slaughter house so we would get together over a few beers and "help" him cut up our deer. Since he passed I went to several local guys but was never really satisfied with the finished product. When my wife bought me a decent grinder for Christmas one year I decided to start doing them myself. Larry, @Lawdwaz was a huge help those first couple of deer helping me get back into it and I have never looked back. I've done deer for several friends and have passed Larry's "knowledge" on along the way. I can't thank Larry enough for his help over the years with butchering deer and so many other unmentioned things, he is truly a great friend!

Cigarettes, chew all have fda approval.as well ,not to mention the hundreds of drugs that are subjects of current lawsuits. Take it if you want to protect yourself. That's it , don't force it in others or shame them into thinking it's safe..

  18. I've been doing my own butchering since about 1985. I had a banner season in 1984 and paid a small fortune to a butcher shop in Clarence Center (Hobart's?) to process them. I was just a young guy that spent most of his money on girls and beer so figured I'd have to learn the trade at some point. The following September I went out west with 6 other guys and ended up (between us) killing 6 antelope and 6 mule deer and those guys wouldn't dare take an animal to a processor. Since I was one of the first to score the opening evening of antelope season (on a dink buck) I was going to be butchering some animals! My buddy Albert showed me the ropes and to say I'm grateful would be an understatement. With some help from another guy from the group we butchered, wrapped and got all the animals ready for the long ride back. Dry ice procured locally made for easily transporting back the meat. I should have mentioned; we drove out in a pick up truck and a huge motor home so getting the goods back was a piece of cake...... So since then I'm sure I've cut up well over 150 deer and a handful of antelope. Worked some elk and caribou too. Over the years I've shown a few friends how I do it (right or wrong, you really can't bung it up too bad) and that makes me happy. What prompted this thread was a Meat Eater episode I just caught the end of. Steve Rinella was doing a show on butchering deer and goes further into depth than I do but, like I said, you'd be hard pressed to mess up the deal. At the end he said how he prefers to use plastic wrap and butcher paper over a vacuum sealer for red meat. I called my wife out and she watched the end of it with him wrapping the meat up and she said, "huh, just like how we do it". So.....how did you learn, trial and error or were you fortunate to have a mentor like I did?

  37. Why when one democrat does something shitty does it immediately get compared to something shitty a republican does as if that makes it ok. “Well trump did something shitty as well so it’s all good” Like it if not that’s what you sound like. Together, left and right let’s acknowledge the fact that’s it’s not right and hold them all accountable. Maybe we will start getting better people to represent us if we do. 38. I learn from my father when I was to young to hunt.He would butcher all the deer in his club in our backyard.Over the years I learned to make the cuts to fit my needs.I never liked throwing the carcass away I always felt it was a waste,so to this day I bring it back into the woods and leave it for whatever wants to eat it. Thanks dad!!!

  40. To a high degree yes . The land owners with the most issues ( often they don’t even know ) are absentee land owners, elderly ones , and others who don’t keep an eye on their land . Theres 3 landowners around us that everyone knows its just best to avoid trying anything on their land . One Mean Jean ,owns farm land that runs along my hunting spot, she’s known to stand outside with binoculars and confront hunters on her ATV. Ah but the Bully on The Hill takes it to another level, he’ll chase you down with whatever is handy, I’ve heard stores of shovels and shotguns , he’s a large man as well . He bought land that boarders ours , so I introduced myself , and we got along ok ,although I didn’t trust him at all, and I certainly didn’t set foot on his land . Towards the end ( he moved ) he was running around the woods naked with a large knife in hand . In retrospect I should have hired him to run off snowmobiles .

  44. Daughter requested my smoked chicken nachos before returning to college this weekend. Labor intensive as each scoop chip gets its own piece of bbq chicken ( chicken was seasoned with bionic poultry rub ) , then pinch of taco cheese , dab of mighty taco sauce , oven to melt cheese and dab of sour cream but so good. Threw a few 4 cheese stuffed banana peppers on the smoker too.

  47. Back in the mid 1960s, a boyhood friend of mine ( whose father was a notorious poacher and probably never cut up a "legal" deer in his life) taught me the basics.... I have done my own since then...For many years several of my friends and I would "pool" our deer and often cut up several together in a day...I probably have participated in cutting several hundred deer over the years... When I started doing out of state hunts with friends, we did the same with caribou, elk and moose...I have personally killed 13 caribou, but have helped process perhaps 30 others, plus half a dozen elk, 3 or 4 moose and a few pronghorns.. Other than that, I don't have experience in the process..

  48. Same here! One of my favorite parts of hunting too! Always did my own from day one. Started with trial and error then started watching YouTube videos and that helped a lot. I've probably watched every deer butchering videos and most cow and pig videos too. Take little tips and tricks from each one. Just started cutting flat irons from the front shoulders and they're fantastic! Pretty small on a deer obviously but it's the second most tender cut besides the tenderloin. The only time I was gonna have an animal butchered was my maine moose but the butcher didn't have it ready by the time I was leaving so I packed it up in coolers and did it myself. Blessing in disguise because I love cutting them up myself. Now that I do taxidermy I get to cut them up and put them back together! Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
