Lawdwaz
OK enough BS, tomorrow is opening day of gun deer season. (I could only hope!!) What is your gun/chambering of choice and are you ready? I am ready.......with my second choice rifle! 2nd choice will be the .243 ULA. 1st choice and most probably the gun I'll be toting will be a .260 Remington. It's a Remington CDL action with a Rock Creek #3 barrel in a McMillan Edge stock. Nothing too fancy but it is a great shooter. 120gr Barnes TTSX bullets will be the projectile launched towards the target. I don't think I've carried it at all hunting for deer. So what are you carrying tomorrow? Edited September 9, 2015 by Lawdwaz

Pygmy
Remington 700 Mountain Rifle, blued finish, walnut stock, chambered in 7mm08. It's as it came from the factory, except the trigger has been adjusted by a local smith to 3 pounds... Scope is a 2x7 Burris Fullfield. I'm shooting my handloads with a Barnes 120 grain TSX at 3015 FPS MV. Zero is set at 3" high at 100 yatds, so I can hold center ribcage from point blank to 300 yards.. If I do my part it will group under 1" at 100 yards.

Doc
Well, first my Mathews MQ-32 will have its turn. But when that opener for gun season rolls around, I will be all hunkered down in my piled up brush blind, dressed like a blaze orange Eskimo, sitting on my stool with a pack full of cold fried egg sandwiches and the thermos of coffee and other goodies strewn around me, binocs dangling around my neck and my Ruger American .270 waiting to do the job. My gun stands turn into a camp of sorts, and I make a real party of it all.....lol.

dbHunterNY
nothing fancy?.... sounded fancy to me.... my choice would probably be my go to deer rifle. Browning Abolt-II stainless bbl and walnut stock, Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40mm scope, and Slogan Outdoors Ultraflex sling. Chambered in 30-06 and I'm shooting 150gr Federal Fusions right now. When I get setup for reloading i'll probably load 210gr Nosler Accubond LR bullets for it.
Northsox65
Since I am living in one of the few counties left that DOES NOT allow Rifles, I will be sitting in my stand with my 12G H&R ultra slug, she's dead on at 100 yds, hopefully someday Tompkins County will convert to Rifle and I will be able to take my dads 30-30 that he gave me when he passed yrs ago.
