What The Heck Is That?

That is what my hunting partner and I said when we saw this pic today.

There is bear in the area, and that was my first guess. But the forelegs look way to thin.

What do you guys think?

Hard to tell size.  But maybe a local cat?  If it's bigger then would def say bear.

We have coyote pic's on this same card pull. This is taller than a coyote. 

But it does look like a house cat Rob.

Depending how far it is from the camera it looks like a cow to me. If that is a cat it sure is a big one.

Looks like a house cat to me. I could be wrong. Pic is very skewed with what looks like fog. Ears and head shape don't look like a bear, more feline.

I'd it's taller than a yote, gotta be a bear. Or possibly a yote just caught the right light angle to show up so dark.

No cows in this area for sure.

We just swapped cards on this cam. So hoping we get another picture, but clearer. Not impressed with this Primo's Truth Cam 02.

My two best guesses are a doe with fawn right behind it. Or a young bear.

OR!...... A squatch doing a do do.....idk

Just that one morning with fog and rain, was really obscure. I don't have the other pics with me to show the other critters, from that card pull. They are on the computer at the farm.

But like I said, not impressed at all with that new Primos cam. Will most likely pull it, and put a better one in it's place.

Grampy..don’t give up on the cam yet. I normally run Brownings but bought 2 Primos Gen 2 for sh..ts and giggles...truth be told I’m ordering 2 more. Fog is tough with most cams..even the brownings...I think it was more of the situation at the time thsn the cam.  Just my thoughts

How about a raccoon looking away but standing/hunching real close to the camera?
It’s absurd that someone claims Squatch on this pic...clearly it would be bigger and posed better for the picture.

ITs a bear, the "thin front legs" looks to me like a plant/weed standing up making them look like 2 thin legs. IMO 100% Bear.. young one but definitely a bear. And its black in color lol

Looks like a bear to me with weeds sticking up splitting those front legs to look skinny.  Check a pick that is clear.  Is there a tall weed in that spot?

Yesterday, I was up in the area where this pic was taken. Though we don't have any pictures of them yet, from this cam, there is PLENTY of bear sign up there. Tracks and scat.

I'm guessing bear.

Ears are way too long for a bear. I think it is a deer. No, I can't explain what is going on with its back half. I might be part of the surroundings or another deer changing the outline or something, but the front half definitely looks like a deer outline. But really, the picture is so bad that it is hard to say anything for sure.

it's a deer quartering away hard, looking back. darkness of it's hide is just from the underexposure, depth for the flash to reach, and haziness of the picture.

Definitely a bear. The shadows of a night time picture make the legs look slimmer
