Up and ready,though listening to our wind chimes whilst laying in bed didn't make the getting up easy. For some reason i have very low hopes for this opener,maybe i will be wrong.

Evan and I are Up in the tower stand waiting for daylight. I have My Cuddeback white flash camera about 75 yards away and we keep seeing the flash go off. They are on their feet this morning.

Goodmorning and goodluck everyone. Got my son up, first time for him going out with me on opening morning. My father and brother will be in the woods today too. Hope we get some action in our woods.

Exactly. It wasn’t a quiet walk in. Snow is super crunchy here. Plus I had to get the heater going early so the windows aren’t foggy by daylight. Learned that lesson last year.

I am waiting for the QDMA F2F participant.   I think he is trying to ensure his socks stay on his feet if you know what I mean.   Lol

Not  me  I love the cold for hunting no ticks !! 

Feels cold bring more clothes with you that's all .  Sometimes  feet and hands can be problem  staying warm but other then that love it .

Looks delicious, but I cant Eat like that before I go out. I’d be having to take a dump by 9am lol.

Yep I can't remember a year that i didn't here gun shots before legal light and actually after  on opening day

Yeah, I was just pinned down by a lone doe for 45 minutes.  If she'd been a buck, would have been hard not to.  Could see clearly through my vx2 scope.
